@Robb James Well in hindsight, it was the right move. We didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes, like Watson not wanting to come here. I thought the team was going to swing for the fences, or wait till next year’s class. Many believed Wentz was going to get cut, not traded for a 3 this year and conditional 3 next year. All in all, it was probably the right move.

As a Washington fan for 52 yrs, at first I was like “ohhhnooo” but this move is growing on me. His numbers are decent and considering how Philly mishandled his situation, it wasn’t all his fault; i.e. I can see why Washington made this move. You couldn’t ask for a better situation for Wentz than here in Washington. The dude has a CANNON for an arm and he is very talented. The mental part of the game was his biggest issue so if he can stay focused & healthy, he’ll do well
