Historically, you get a great class once every 5 years or so. This applies to lots of things, like NFL drafts, college class years, elementary classes (elementary teachers will confirm). Just because Kansas City needs a good draft class, doesn’t mean it’s going to happen this year.
Trevor Penning has INCREDIBLE athleticism, arguably some of the best for Tackles in this class. If for whatever reason Niang doesn’t work out, Penning would REALLY secure that offensive line, and provide some high quality play in this KC offense.
Penning is overrated in my opinion. All they show you is his highlights throwing people down. They never show you all the times he gets toasted in pass pro

if you take him, he’s not starting this year, he’d play left not right, only keep brown for this year and move on with him, then next year give penning a go.
Why would we move on from brown
@Jaden Lombardo cuz he’s a run the ball tackle and isn’t good at pure pass protection, and with mahomes @ QB we’re never gonna be a run 1st team
Niang will be just fine, it’s Orlando Brown I’m much more concerned with.
