We watched John Elway and the Denver Broncos chop us up for years with their running scheme and the bootleg play. And I believe that if you incorporate that into the West Coast offense, Patrick Mahomes is the perfect weapon to take advantage of that opportunity. With that said I would build the offense through free agency and the defense through the draft. And then I would always draft into the future, and stockpile draft capital. I’ll trade you my third round draft pick this year for your second round draft pick in 2 years. But maybe I’m wrong? I’m just the All-Seeing Eye who has the answer to all of the world religions. But what do you think? Does it sound like a bad long-term strategy?
