Hope Spag will play him. Nick is excellent Middle LB and we have seen what he can do. But Spag always replaces him with Sorensen or Niemann. No one knows the reason. Spag should use his top defenders and let some of the his friends take the seats. It is do or die. Go Chiefs
@Malcolm Keith It is above my head, and many others think he should not be playing because QBs and OCs have his number: When you see 49 just go after him, baby and when you see 56 just run over him.

@Ismael Ibrahem Looking forward to this defense without Sorenson, Nieman, Hitchens, and Clark — those last two are eating up a ton of Cap space. And I hate to say it, but 32 (who I love) is seriously underperforming. I worry about throwing a big, multi-year contract his way when his stats just don’t warrant it. Obv a great leader on defense but has been a poor tackler this season — frequently overcommits when he blitzes and runs right past QB or RB. Gave up two TDs against the Bengals in Week 17. Wish we could just give 32 a 1-year contract, but he will be looking for more. Understandable, and I expect I’ll get flamed for suggesting he’s not playing well.

We should make him a team captain next year with after moving on from Hitchens and also the possibility of Mathieu not returning i think it would really give us a boost on defense. I know he’s young but he’s more than ready
