Are you going to single Diggs like you singled Chase? Are you going to keep Sorrenson out there when he repeatedly gets burned? If yes, you’ve cost the Chiefs a run to the SB, and should be fired.
It’s not up to him, he does what he’s told.
Don’t play Sorensen deep down the field. Double Stephon Diggs, don’t treat him like you did Jamarr Chase, it cost the Chiefs the number 1 seed. Come up with a good game plan coach. Emmanuel Sanders is another good receiver that must be accounted for in this game.

He’s been blessed with some good talent. I think Sutton would’ve loved to have the players they brought in when they brought Spags in. I’d speculate that he got some say, in some way, as to who they brought in to play defense. They gave Sutton a 3-4 team and had him playing 4-2-5 subs over 50% of the time, with a team built to play 3-4. I felt kind of bad for Sutton, because he was originally a 4-3 guy, and would’ve embraced switching back to a 4-3.
Leave Sorenson on the bench he’s a huge part of the reason we lost to them in the regular season he had 2-3 blown coverages that were HUGEEEEEEE I’m pretty sure they scored on 2 of them
You have to understand that he can play if he’s close to the line. Like in the chargers game

no. dan must play. hes a great box safety. what they must avoid is playing him at deep safety. its not his fault, hes just not that guy.
He’s had his gaffes. I think some of his gaffes this season were risks he was supposed to take; one or two were with the expectation of inside help that was slow to arrive, but biting on the quick out was his assignment, perhaps, and there was a guy who was supposed to rotate over to his side, who didn’t.
Sometimes Thornhill and Gay are a beat slow to scoot to their spot, like they get caught lookin’, when they should be movin’. Gay’s taking a little while to play 100% instinctively. When he plays without hesitation, he’s a full step quicker to the spot than anybody else, and he knows what to do when he gets there. He’ll keep getting better for the next couple years. I think Bolton already plays instinctively.
I’m not sure Willie Gay even played in the first meeting. If he plays without hesitation, he can be a difference maker.
Sorensen has been on the wrong side of a big play many times over the years if you watch highlights from the past, however if he’s put in the right position he can make a couple of huge plays
Not one reporter had the nuts to ask about Dirty Dans playing time and on the field and coverage.
dan should play. he’s a good player. the issue is using him in a way he isnt built for. he is a box safety, not a deep safety.
@Solid Shepard He can play Cover-2, if the other safety has extra range. He’s a good spy on QB or RB. He’s a good antidote for a running QB like Allen if he keys on that.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Armani Watts on regular D, blitzing off the edge a time or three.

Dan is a solid tackler even if maybe he has lost a step. He makes good reads and smart plays from what I have seen.
