@Chestar AK Mecole’s problems have been his routes. He doesnt follow through with his routes and create enough seperation and allows contact to completely disrupt him. Why do you think they resorted to so many screens to get him the ball? QBs have to trust their receivers and Mahomes doesnt trust him enough. There have been many occasions where you can see Mahomes frustrated with Hardman because he doesnt keep up with his route and/or gives up.
@Joshua I get you, but Mahomes is praised cos of Tyreek and Kelce’s greatness,He can’t throw in tight windows like Rodgers or Brady or even Eli and Foles in the Superbowls,for him to be successful he needs his receivers to create a yard of separation or something,am starting to believe the guy is overhyped,Chiefs ain’t winning the Superbowl if they make it that far…trust me… Unless Tyreek makes a play like wasp again… Am starting not to believe in Mahomes. Hardman,Pringle,Drob,Watkins,all good receivers,but because every read he has Hill or Kelce as his 1st or 2nd option,he only throws to them… it’s too much
@Chestar AK Mahomes has been using his other receivers a lot more this season. However you can’t deny how much Hardman either messes up his route, or drops the ball.
And he could’ve had even more yards. Had a couple where he nearly broke it open.

On the road. Division game. Late season. Guys are missing and teams are banged up. The Chief’s make it a team effort, as it should always be in those circumstances. Got the win and that’s all that matters. This team has a lot of scar tissue at this point. Mentally I think we’re even better than we were 2 years ago. We just need the coaches to be a little more creative in my opinion in the run game. I guess the jet sweeps are gone..OK I’m cool with that. Why? I guess the jet wide screens have replaced them because Mecole had his best game of the year. Let’s just keep doing new stuff now. Derek McKinnon also big time stepped up. I like his fast slashing style it really gives us a new wrinkle going into the postseason. Keep him under wraps though like we did today. A great team win against a very proud and prideful Denver squad. 13 in a row now. They gave it their absolute best. The single late turnover made the difference. It was a fantastic game in my opinion. Should show the world once again that the Chief’s still get everyone’s best. Yet they still find ways to win.
Thankfully we have Hardman to take the load off of Tyreek for a bit
If given the chance Hardman can be our number 1. As long as Hill is in the game, hardman can’t. That’s why he has the problems he’s been facing

He’s a good gadget player, but he’s not really a number one. He is a crucial part to the team though.
@Nicholas when we get a Real Number 2 in FA or draft this off season he can play more of a closer to the line up scrimmage role so defenses can’t play so high he’s be a nice safety valve to have and just make plays after the catch

I would play Hardman more and Robinson less. Having said that, I like Robinson and dont want to lose him. Pringle appears to be in the 2 spot as Mahomes trusts him more.
I completely agree. I don’t know why they don’t reduce Robinsons time on the field. Pringle and Hardman do a good job, sometimes a great job especially when Tyreek is not on the field.
Robinson is so slow, like it fr hurts me to watch him play. Idk there is just something abt his athletic ability and agility that isn’t there. He tries too hard to get around the defenders but always manages to lose instead of gaining yards.

Kelce hustled right down there with him and you see why… that is in part why Kelce will one day go to the Hall of Fame. Go Chiefs !!!
My biggest problem with Hardman is that he’s only productive in the screen game he’s never been able to shake the stiffness needed to become a good route runner. Loved the game from him though he stepped up
