Uh, no. Not even close. Blind squirrel finds a nut one play and everyone says he played great. Doesn’t change the fact that he should probably be on the bench. Doesn’t make up for all the times he’s been burned this season.
@Brandon Dixon I won’t. Watts should being playing his snaps. He’s younger and faster. He can do what Dan does, plus he could actually cover deep.
@Brandon Dixon no he wasn’t lol. That’s a lie. He was “starting.” He has been reduced to a reserve role. The other guy is right. He was beat. If not, for Niemann’s tipped pass, he would have given up the completion. He has got big play ability, but he goes through weeks and weeks of terrible play. This isn’t the first year he has done this. And it’s always fans like you that ignore his terrible play, and blame it on the dc. Sorensen was getting cooked.
Agreed if Thornhill or Matthieu go down, Watts should get the bulk of snaps. I think Watts should be in there over Sorensen.
I knew when he recorded an interception/interception return, the Sorensen fanboys would come out lol. Where were you guys the entire season?
@Brandon Dixon so what you are saying is with pass rush, Sorensen good. Without passrush, Sorensen bad. Lol we are going to play good teams that can contain our passrush. Want to see what you say then when he gets torched then. Wouldn’t be first time. Teams are literally targeting him & going after him.
@The Old Paths he has never been a down the field cover player…. that’s for corners and free safety….. literally out of position for sorenson….you don’t target for a pass that’s there to cover mainly runs and screens….. he’s not doing the down the field covering anymore unless he’s late safety help…. exactly what he was doing when he got that interception….learn your football

They always give him a jet sweep or screen. Literally, that’s his thing. He’s *thee* jet sweep guy.
Hardman drops 2 out of 3 passes thrown to him. I like the guy, but he can’t run routes well and can’t get separation. He gives up on the play too early

I think pringle has done more than enough to be that 3rd WR even 2nd WR and get some manufactured touches. I’m really not sure why Andy is being so basic? It’s like he doesn’t want teams catching onto any tendencies.
I’ve been thinking that Pringle should be wr3 behind kelce and hill. He has great hands and plays hard! Put him in! Mecole is a great player but honestly to me hasn’t been doing much to help kelce and hill

One play at the center focus of the broadcast, watch the ALL-22 film before you try to argue, though the fact that you haven’t seen him on the “3rd and Sorensen” plays we saw teams target him on earlier in the year means he’s obviously leveled up his play on those key downs he’s in on.
But his physical abilities have drastically diminished as seen whenever hes manned up against literally anyone and its not like he can just “level that up”
The best way to frustrate pass rushers is to run the ball at them.

When Sorenson is playing at a pseudo LB position he is much better. Just don’t ask him to cover WR’S, or TE’s or as a deep safety.
