This guy is a punishing runner. The best kind there is.
Yeah, he’s a stud. The chiefs should use him more. Right now, I think the chiefs should focus on the RPO’s more. Keep the defense off the field and the opposing offense off the field.

Yep. What our coaches don’t understand is having the option to run the ball only makes this chiefs offense deadlier. Reid and Eric too wrapped up in how great Mahomes is that they’re one dimensional with the offense at this point.
@B- Head so you think you know more than a former NFL RB & RB coach and a future HOF coach?🙂🤔 I think they’re aware of that, which is why we run every game. We have yet to replace Kareem Hunt. That was the ultimate luxury & fit for this offense.

@KSU 1989 You think they’re aware of that? PM had 48 pass attempts against the Giants. The coaches talk about taking advantage of what the opposing defenses are giving them, so why tf aren’t they committing more to the run and short passes?
This dude shows WAY more potential then CEH if you ask me. He should keep getting touches and slowly make his way to rb1 and bump CEH to rb2

Clyde is a better all around back. Williams is a better receiver clearly. Gore has a spot on this roster but it’s going to take a bit.

Yeah when I saw that cut I was honestly upset but definitely glad they kept him.
I watched him ball out in pre season games. Went to see what our rookies looked like. The kid did fantastic and I couldn’t believe we sent him to the practice squad. He has so much potential maybe they did him a bit of good. To learn from Darrel is cool. This one has hero’s blood
Surprised he didn’t end up on another roster. He does miss gaps every now and then, but he’s much faster than Clyde and Darrell.
I was at this game and it was so exciting to watch him score! The stadium went crazy and to know it was his first td in the league make’s it so much better! Congratulations Derrick, you deserve it!

@Neil Orear he may have better vision that CEH, however CEH is better in space on passing routes and RAC. So far the Chiefs have egregiously misused his skillset IMO.
@Charlie Rogers how can you determine that because as a NFL receiver/RB he looks like an uncoordinated 14 year old with a very short reach/wingspan
He runs really hard and he has speed through the hole 🕳. He looks faster than CEH. He looks like a good power runner. How many snaps will he get once CEH comes back??
@Patrick Mahomes ll Will CEH be healthy to start against the Packers or is he still on injured reserve. He’s not on the injury report for this game.

I don’t think he’s being used like he was at LSU. I was a big fan of Clyde Edwards Helaire in the draft, he’s got talent idk what’s going on with him. They should try running power with him when he comes back. I saw some aspects of Barry Sanders in his game.

Vision is such an underrated trait for a running back. Glad to see Gore get an opportunity. This guy paid his own way at Bama just to sit behind Derrick Henry, Kenyon Drake and Damien Harris. Gotta love his dedication to football.
