I’m not a troll, but I’m a Saints fan that has moved forward instead of being like some of those fans who think it’s still 2009. The futility of failure was bound to happen, not drafting a quarterback in the first round two years ago instead of drafting BUSTS, not drafting receivers instead of leaning on scrubs and retreads. Draft a center who can’t play guard, draft a pass rusher who was over-evaluated by scouts, and year after year drafting best player available. My God, do this team seem to draft players they could get in the later rounds or undrafted instead of drafting them in the 3rd or 4th rounds. The Saints were lucky in the 2016 draft, but after that, it’s been bust after bust. Yeah, many may say the draft is a crapshoot as well, as the Saints’ free agency. Yes, injuries this season has been painful, but will anyone blame the medical staff that’s filled with The Three Stooges or better yet, Mike Tyson’s cornman during Tyson vs Buster Douglas bout 30 years ago because it’s total incompetence, but it’s been like that for years. The salary cap, once a friend now a foe, but no matter how much they restructure contracts the cap gets worse year after year. I’m in minority but a full rebuild would make sense and have a clean slate and become contenders in a few years. After all, this team has been driving a car with a battery they’ve to get a jump all the time. It’s time for this team to save for a new battery because the old one is on life support.
