Thank god a guy who understands to build around a players strengths instead of being stubborn and forcing them to play into a scheme.
A-fucking-men.
To be honest, every coach we’ve had since Manning has said the same thing about playing to player’s strengths. Even Shurmur said it when we brought him in. Doing it is totally different and I hope these guys do. I have high hopes.
We need to bring the running game and that physical and aggressive defense that was in Jacksonville when Hackett was there
He will do good for our Broncos 🙂
Welcome to Denver coach !!!
Anyone not named Shurmur is an immediate upgrade.
I have no fan of Shurmur, But I find it hard to believe this guys any kind of upgrade. Since Hackett will be calling the plays, I guess he’s a bit of a gopher anyway…
Welcome to Denver! Now we need to brush up our Special teams. I say we get back Andy Janovich on trade. West coast offenses love their multi-talented fullbacks. It was a terribly stupid move to get rid of a physical FB that can catch as well as he could even when there wasn’t a “scheme” for him at the time. He’s also a stud on Special teams. He only has a season left on the extension WE gave him in the first place, so we can cut ties if he doesn’t have it anymore.
I’ll take 22 Janos
or draft the Oklahoma FB. He’s a stud.
Looks like Hackett’s made a good pick here. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season. I hope, with Fangio gone, we can keep the D from slipping…
Fangia was a great defensive coordinator. Wish we could sign him there but he would never do that.
Don’t worry about that. New D Coordinator Ejiro Evero is gonna be great for us. Watch what he brings out of PS2 and the rest of the secondary. I think it will surprise a lot of people here in Denver.
It is about the Jims and Joes, not the X’s & O’s. Finally, after 2 years of trying to fit players into a mediocre offensive philosophy.
I hope they can make something out of Jerry Jeudy. I know everyone loves his route running, but if your 1st round WR plays 10 games, only starts 5 and produces 0 touchdowns, that my friend, is a bust, regardless of QB play or offensive scheme.
I guess we’ll see…
“It’s all about the ball.” That kind of amazing insight should be helpful for guys that have made it to the professional level..
Potential is there can’t wait to see if it’s realised
Any man that takes joy in bbq forever has my respect
Welcome to Broncos Country,, Offensive been lacking creativity ,,let’s go win some games ..Can already feel the energy ,,the Mile high magic 🏈🏈
This team hasn’t had an offensive identity for years. To see Coach Hackett talk about his philosophy was a breath of fresh air.
Welcome Mr. Outten looking forward to seeing your knowledge and expertise used as our O.C.I liked your intro. GO Broncos!!!
Awww he’s adorable!🤣🤣 welcome to Broncos country!!
Two things impressed me. The coaches he learned from. Keeping the defense on their toes, guessing is music to my ears. Shurmur system was so predictable and boring.
I like how he’s already worked with hacket and so for hacket to bring him to Denver really shows trust. Let’s make it to the playoffs now.
Good luck coach! Please help us score more than 20 points a game consistently.
I’m digging the vibes Broncos Country!!
Thanks Couch Outten. The best coach I had during my days at Westfield! God bless and do great things in Denver.
