My favorite part about teddy is his ability to trust his teammates(oline and skill players) to win their matchups when the situation is favorable/ideal

I love Teddy. I think what’s so frustrating is that fans, from the minute he won the job, we were saying, “Pound the ball and use play action”. Against Dallas, they finally did that and Teddy feasted. I have no idea why Shurmur didn’t do this earlier in the season. There were other games where Pookie and/or Gordon were running well, and he totally abandoned the run.
Exactly. They both were averaging over 5 yards a carry earlier in the season yet he refused to continue to run the ball until the other team could stop them. He FINALLY woke up and did it last game, let’s see if he is smart enough to stick with it. This team has great talent, it’s a shame that they don’t have an offensive coordinator with an innovative mind to use them properly!
