I’m reminded of my memory of Pete’s year as HC of the Jets. 1994, 6-5 with hope! Then, lost the last 5 games, 6-10, Pete’s gone to New England. This led to the Kotite years and Jets misery not unlike today. (sigh)

Aaron Levine asked, “Do you think we can get through the off season without the rumors and speculation? Are we all on the same page here? (Russell Wilson)”

1. The owner of the team is a business woman. She isn’t going to allow PC/JS to trade the player who sells tickets and the most jerseys.
2. Pete Carroll said, “I love this team. We’ve got the nucleus of a championship right here and we’re going to try to keep that together.” FACT: The very center of that “nucleus” is Russell Wilson.
The bit about “…we’re going to compete at every turn…”, Pete says that ALL THE TIME. He said it after winning the Super Bowl. It did NOT = “we’re considering trading Russ”.
3. Wilson has a no trade clause in his contract.
To summarize, the team who doesn’t want to trade him, would not only have to change its mind to risk a fanbase mutiny, the player who has said repeatedly he wants to retire a Seahawk would have to waive his no trade clause.

What else is there to know? 🤷‍♂
The only people propagating the rumors and speculation are media people like you, Mr. Levine. You want it to stop? Then stop.
