Everyone wanting to see progress in the first year is nuts. The Bills took a few years to rebuild, and even though they made the playoffs their first year, they took a step back the second one under current leadership. Let’s give this team time to do things right and build from the ground up. This way the Giants have longevity of winning seasons

@Michael Irish My definition of “progress” is assembling a good coaching staff and beginning to address our personnel deficiencies. I’ve been through the highs and lows with this team (since the mid 70’s). I can wait. Go Big 💙

@Steve P I guess I’m worried that everyone is expecting them to make the playoffs, and hearing that everyone should be fired at the end of the season. Yeah I agree with you on that….from what I have heard, the GM will probably make changes to the front office after the draft. That way he has time to evaluate those who are there. They won’t. I don’t know what pictures barns has but no matter what happens, no matter how many players get hurt… Barns keeps his job. No matter the coach or GM barns has kept his job. It’s insane.

For Jones yes, for Barkley NO. They have to try and get something for him. There is no reason to have Barkley here next year. You CANT extend him. He has had one good year followed by 3 injured years. I don’t care if he rushed for 2200 yards you CANT extend him, he can’t stay healthy. He won’t be resigned so get something for him. See if a team thinks he can put them over the top and give you a 2nd round pick for him. Otherwise he will just walk for nothing and if this is a rebuilding team that would be idiotic. You HAVE TO TRY AMD GET SOMETHING FOR HIM.

BUT what makes you think he COULD have a good year anyway? In 4 years he has had ONE good year. That’s it. He has been hurt or hurt and bad the other 3 years. Explain to me why you would keep him if ya know ya can’t give him big money to extend him? He is either bad and gone or good and gone. That’s it.
