Execution has always been the key. Nice job by the Oline pushing them backwards on running plays and holding their blocks. If you watch Roche he plays the run better than rush the passer. He needs to get stronger and add some pass rush moves but I like him. Nice win and hopefully they can get Andrew back next game.

Quincy Roche was on my draft board & wanted him in the 4th-7th Rd. Steelers took him but we got him after he was cut. He has a nice burst & some bend. He could be a gem. Still needs to work on some pass rush moves but so far so good. Ojulari & Roche have been integral in the reemergence of the defense & it’s better play & pass rush. Lorenzo Carter is atheltic but has no football IQ & Ximines is strong but has no pass rushing moves or burst. They aren’t around the QB or ball much & rarely make an impact. Giants have been waiting for Carter & Ximines to take that “next step” but it’s like year 4 & 3 for them. They are what they are. Not starters. Roche has already made more plays than both in a fraction of their playing time. Roche & Ojulari need to be the starting OLBs.

Great win. We should have won the Washington & Chiefs games, and arguably could have won the Falcons game had Adoree Jackson secured that late game end zone interception which would have sealed the same. We should be 5-4 or 6-3 but one game at a time. The team is decimated by injuries but guys are stepping up & they are playing with heart & passion. That’s all you can ask for. No mistakes & hustle leads to good things most of the time.

We could easily be 5 and 4 right now, by winning the game against Washington and Kansas City but we are not ! If we have any chance of a wild card we can only lose one game after the buy, and that’s being very optimistic. I never remember a Giants season ever having this many injuries to starting players.
