So excited to see the new team! Steeler Nation will always be the goats.

    Al Brown

    Goats of what??

    Gilbert Aviles

@Al Brown Goats of the NFL they have earned it!

    YonTheStoned

@Al Brown goats in my mind and many others. Name another team with as much growth and achievements. I’ll wait. If you name the patriots I’ll just remind you that was Tom Brady and not the team.

Jacob Melecio

LET’S GOOOOOOO COACH T

Jam Jam

Coach T is Great!!! So well spoken and a true understanding of the direction the Steelers want to go. You can tell this staff was selected based on developing young talent and molding the team into a well oiled machine.

    Tangitau Attack

@Jam Jam He is sooooooo well-spoken its insane.

    Bryan Severine

@Jam Jam does anyone call Andy Reid or Sean Peyton “well spoken”? Check yourself

    Cecil Hayes

@Bryan Severine nahh they’re not the same. After he’s done coaching if he decides to do tv he’s going to be great at it because he knows how to give soundbites without over talking. Bill beleick is not well spoke. Hell neither is tony dungy. Coach T is definitely a well spoken man

    Jam Jam

@Bryan Severine lol cause they don’t sound half as smart as Coach T or half as accomplished lol.

    Bryan Severine

“Well spoken” is usually an underhanded “compliment” used when referring to a black person. It’s just a slightly more subtle way of saying “You’re one of the good ones”. I’m not saying that YOU had any intent other than to compliment Coach T. But, Remember how mad he got about the USC rumors? That’s why I specifically mentioned Reid and Payton.

Bighurt 53

Great interview!! She asked just about everything I wanted to know

    Alan Fagan

Missi working for the Steelers a long time
    Really good at her job

    Razorbak

    I agree….excellent job!!!

    Stanley Ezen

Y’all think Steelers draft a TE?

    Bighurt 53

@Stanley Ezen naw, they already have 4 according to their roster.

    Stanley Ezen

    Oh

AFCsteel

Missi is a great interviewer

    Doc Mitchell

Absolutely. She stays respectful and straight to the point. Excellent work 👍

Tomlin is a legend, such an underrated Head Coach

    THEEINFEKTED

    Definitely 🤣

    jw1

You know what’s highly overrated? The use of the term underrated. I’m not sure how on earth you can call a guy that is consistently named as a top 3-5 NFL head coach underrated. I mean a lot of clueless spoiled fans don’t like him but that doesn’t make him underrated.

    Jeremiah Seavey

I’m a Raven’s fan and that man is FAR from under-rated

    vl8962

@Jeremiah Seavey Harbaugh is vastly underrated as well… Tomlin has put horrible and flawed Steelers teams in the playoffs for years. They consistently overachieve. And Tomlins handling of personalities like AB, Big Ben, JuJu, Mike Wallace etc…. All these coaches building All Star teams and winning rings is cheap to me. Win with a team you built in house and with dynamic coaching.

    USA

@vl8962 thats exactly right your spot on “Tomlin has put horrible and flawed Steelers teams in the playoffs for Years ” all of which Tomlin created , Tomlin creates horrible and flawed Teams period and if you think wild card playoffs and now super wild card playoff game which were all lost BTW and some were blowouts , so i guess your words are the reality Tomlin sucks as a Coach now as a spokesperson his word salads are just fine well spoken and the source of the ESPN virtue signaling Love fest showered on any coach who wears Rainbow colored Alphabet trinkets wait a sec thats what Tomlin usually wears isnt it a collection of Rainbow colored trinkets and lets not forget how Tomlin secured his endearment from the sports media via his over the top promotion of the Racism montra the NFL now cradles like a baby in its arms even tho the NFL is mostly black players few if any latino players 0 asian players yet the constant drum roll of racism towards black players is the Hill the NFL stands on and the sports media darling Tomlin was created words like Never a losing season all just words to glorify a losing teams coach a coach who isnt even able to get his team past a wild card game in over 12 years now lost the last super bowl he got a old vet team Bill Cowhard created and his only Super Bow win from as well once the Cowhard team aged and retired Mike Tomlins days of winning ended the Mike Tomlin created teams have each and every one been failures . you can sit back and baste in the glory of Mike Tomlins greatness all you want it all came from Bill Cowhard draft picks , not a single team that Tomlin has his finger prints on has won a playoff game Period .. that looks like Failure to me , i dont expect you to see that after all anyone who says Tomlin is a great coach is just virtue signaling and scared to face reality so you can be happy the Steelers under Tomlin have had a winning season all you want but there in the dumpster and as long as Tomlin keeps on sporting Rainbow wear and talking like a professor and keeps on virtue signaling He will be Adorn for all his failed teams and he will smile all the way to the Bank . your words Horrible and Flawed were the truth you should be man or woman enough to Hear your own words .

Kia Adams

I’m a Browns fan..
But good lord, I love this man. Brilliant and well spoken.

    Joe Spat

    I love you

    Salerno

If you think saying um every 10 seconds is being well spoken, then you need to go back to school kid.

    Kia Adams

@Salerno and If you think being needlessly critical and negative makes you intelligent then you need to go back to school… kid.

    Jam Jam

@MadScientist you say that but every playoff run we had when we were legit contenders because of our offense, we either lost a couple of key players or Ben had his signature multi-turnover games. It’s cool though let’s blame Tomlin. This is the most excited I’ve seen Coach T in a long time. It seems as if he’s happy Ben is gone now and can now focus on a more efficient less turnover offense. He talked about adding mobility to the QB position to add more to the run game and dynamic plays. He’ll prove that it wasn’t Ben who made the team.

John Pennington

Like the answer about Tuitt because they have to be prepared just in case he doesn’t return and there’s some really good defensive line talent in this draft and with the unknown about Tuitt and AluAlu being 35 you have to bring in talent so these guys can start learning from a experience vet.

    Nathan Tewkesbury

*He is playing. Colbert said he wanted to play last year and Cam has even said things about Tuitt playing. Also he has been at the facility working out the last few weeks*

Cliff The Dark Nite

I will never understand the slander this man gets. He is such a great coach and has such a great energy to him.

    Dale Zegarelli

@tyler larson I “fan” you. You are Sweden…right!!! Look up the Sweden meaning for “fan”. I just did that to you!!!!!!! 😁.

    Jerome Edwards

@Dale Zegarelli what does anyone of your comments mean???

    Dale Zegarelli

@Jerome Edwards Jerome!! I just read again; my comments. I think; I explained myself, quite clearly.
I don’t think Mike Tomlin is a good coach. Review the Steeler’s past 9 years. Hard to find much to cheer about!
    No big deal…just my opinion!!!!

    Jerome Edwards

@Dale Zegarelli that’s what I was saying your opinion is yours which doesn’t mean anything. He’s a great coach in so many eyes (professionals and fans alike) you’re no one!

    Jam Jam

@Dale Zegarelli Yupp just your opinion. My opinion that can be proven as fact is that Ben wasn’t as great as everyone thinks. Never took care of himself, never was a good leader and was called out a lot about that, never was a cerebral QB and the turnover numbers show it, always relied on elite WRs but somehow got the stigma of making his WRs better, never won a SB MVP and played horrible in 2 of them, benefited from historic defenses, and had a great coaching staff the entire time. But yeah let’s blame Tomlin for Ben having 5 TOs by himself against Jacksonville. You know the year we were set to win it all and had the number 1 seed right there but the refs cheated us against the Patriots and right after they cheated us, Ben threw a pick in the end zone forcing the ball in between 2 defenders and cost us the #1 seed and a chance to play the Titans, who we beat earlier that year 42-16, in the second round instead of Jacksonville 🤷🏾‍♂️. It’s Tomlin’s fault though.

Tyles Levy

She asked all the right questions! Man this was the best interview the Steelers popped out I’m a long time m.

    Matt Black

I always type an m by accident when I press send on an iPhone m

    Torrey Garland

    She definitely did

WP SN

Is it just me or does Coach Tomlin look like he’s been lifting? He looks sort of buff!

Steven Neal

This team is unlike no other!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Amos Kisuule

loved this interview, love this coach, love this team #HereWeGo

YisraelDAKATaino

Awesome interview I appreciate having Tomlin as a Steelers fan

Jerry W

Getting Myles Jack is huge. That dude is scary good.

I Love Jesus Christ and Dog's

By far one of my favorite coaches of all time especially when he shuts down Stephen Smith on ESPN.

Dexter Ghostman Barnett

Love the coach. I also love how Missi interviews she’s great.

Jonathan Noble Esquire

I’m not even a big football fan but I love this interview. Missi was totally prepared, asked great questions and allowed Mike to fully respond.

Forest Glover

Great interview, an even greater coach. He is definitely a power of example…SteelerNation4Life!!!

Michael Waninger

Tomlin gives great interviews. It is easy to see why the Steelers are always in the mix with him as coach. Imagine a player like Myles Jack gets a call from Mike Tomlin and that’s all it takes. Actions speak louder than words.
