As a Bears fan, we still love this guy. He didn’t stand a chance here, the Bears are NOT the Steelers. He was young, green, inexperienced, wide eyed and thrown immediately into duty in a dumpster fire with a terrible coach, minimal weapons, bad o-line and Mike Glennon to learn from. Even with Nagy calling plays, Mitch snuck into the pro-bowl in year 2 and took them to the playoffs twice. Nagy had it out for him, kept trying to replace him with lesser talent and refused to cater the offense to what Mitch could do well, which is a lot. His reputation has gotten out of control, he’s a diamond in the rough and he’s pretty exciting to watch. He costs the Steelers next to nothing and could potentially be your future. I’ll be a Steelers fan this year bc of Mitch

@BigRadz A very good assessment on his skill set and it does play into Canada’s scheme – but I haven’t heard one Bears fan mad or upset that they didn’t re-sign him – even as a backup – as a Steelers fan it definitely makes me wonder about the bill of goods …

@Devin Bayer No doubt – he’s a mid-level guy and a good teammate. Based on the film it seems that Rudolph has a much better deep ball and vertical game – but Canada’s offense stretches the field sideline-to-sideline so hopefully he can be serviceable for the next year or two, but I don’t see the Steelers competing for the AFC title with this guy.

More like 5-7 as he’s very slippery and self aware of his abilities. As a bears fan who was high on Tru after we drafted him, I’ll be watching a lot of steelers games to see how he does in an offense that isn’t meant to sabotage him. I enjoy watching the Bears v Patriots game which really show cases what I’m talking about.

Facts I can’t stand how Ben refused to even try his final years in the league that’s exactly what made Ben special and he didn’t even try his last few years..plus I hear Mitch can run a 4.6 if y’all don’t think tomlins gonna utilize that then your crazy tomlins one of the best coaches in the league Mitch took the freaking bears to the playoffs twice and I see so many fans doubting that he can take us to the playoffs all because of Watson smh

If Mitch can get to the playoffs with Aaron Rodgers in his division I’m not worried about Watson one bit especially since we have a better defense than his previous teams…Mitch had an overrated defense all because they had Khalil Mack but now he got the dpoy on his side 💯

Bill’s Mafia will be laughing all the way to the Super Bowl while Steeler Nation will be laughing all the way to the 15th pick in the first round – don’t kid yourself – as a Steeler fan for 50 years I know they are a great organization but without a franchise QB – they made 1 Super Bowl in 21 years and had some of the most dominating defenses in the league during that time. MT might be a nice guy and a good teammate but he’s a 1-and-done in the playoffs at best – even with Tomlin and that staff.

@Froy Adan Hi Froy, The Bears Defense was great in 2018 but there OL wasn’t good at all and if it wasn’t for the double doink missed FG he would have won a play off game. in 2019 he went 8-7 and in 2020 he went 6-3 with a really bad defense and OL. All the other QB’s did much worse when they came in. You should know your facts before replying

If you look at the stat below you can see Trubisky is a hidden gem. On top of this stat it doesn’t show how the kicker lost 4 games missing last second field goals to win the games. So stat could’ve been better
