Great break down of WRs. A clearer picture will emerge after the Steelers resign their FAs.

Jay Mac

I would love to see the Steelers pick up Golden Tate, who is widely regarded for his “yards after the catch” stats, for a season or two. He was an unsigned free agent last year and could most likely he picked up for fairly cheap.

    Jay Mac

@Michael Jackson, says the guy who obviously has no idea why we need a player with Golden Tate’s hands & experience. The Steelers don’t need another young speedster, who is a deep ball threat. They have that already with Claypool. What they need is someone who can move the chains on a quick slant that wont drop the ball or fall to the ground immediately after contact. Neither JuJu or Johnson have become that guy. Why not bring someone in to show whichever receiver that the Steelers keep how it’s done? Like him or not, Tate knows how to get those “hard to get” first downs.

    Nathan Tewkesbury

If you want a Golden type WR, a Vet, look no further than Anthony Miller. He will compete for that #3 WR this season

    Jay Mac

@Nathan Tewkesbury I hope Miller can & does. I don’t expect Schuster or Washington to make the roster next season. However, Miller was barely noticeable after his acquisition at the tail end of last season.

    Nathan Tewkesbury

Yes but A.Mill did sign a future contract with the team after waiting a few days an talking to Colbert and his agent. He was not part of the 1st wave of practice squad signees but a few days later he did dot the line. Meaning he had a conversation and the team sees something in him to bring back

Osu is a WR making factory

    jw1

Which is why their QB’s always fail in the NFL. They think everyone gets that wide open. LOL
