@Lovly Price My friend you’re entitled to your opinion but mentioning JuJu in the same breath as Hines Ward is blasphemy. To each their own. You saw what the league thought of JuJu during free agency last year. They offered him #2 WR money because that’s what he is now a #2 or 3 guy.

The league was going through a pandemic, he was smart not to take a deal, it is just ashame he got hurt. We saw what happen with Mike Hilton. The same will likely happen with Juju. I stand by my first comment. His production declined with Ben’s arm. Mason and Duck didn’t help either.

@jw1 Look at how many players they couldn’t keep to sign him. TJ is worth every penny, but the Steelers like many other organizations were working with tight cap space.
How much revenue do you think was loss with unpacked stadiums.
I am someone who doesn’t grab the elephant tail and go along with popular opinion. Juju is a great asset to any organization. With a present elite qb, he shines.

@jw1 He will get more money elsewhere… Ben hasn’t had an arm to get him the ball, but when it was Juju’s stats were better very good, but also was behind the Antonio “nut job” Brown and drew the lesser coverage comers. In the end, I’m not bummed if he leaves, just pointed out he came back on his agenda.

@Iron City Rob He may get more money than we’ll pay him but it won’t be elite money. Guys like Adams, Hill, Hopkins etc are much bigger problems for defenses than JuJu. Nobody is breaking the bank for JuJu

@jw1 No one rated him at those players level. These days he is 2nd and possibly 3rd on the depth charts for the Steelers behind Johnson and Claypool, and someone will offer him close to WR1 money and the Steelers won’t and shouldn’t.

JuJu would have been on the first plane out of Pittsburgh if he’d have gotten the big offer he wanted and expected. He had 3 options. Go to KC where you’d be the #3 option behind Tyreek and Kelce, go to Baltimore who is a a run heavy team with a QB that’s as accurate as a skud missle or return to Pittsburgh where you’d be the #1 or 2 option in a pass heavy scheme and have a chance of getting a big payday in 2022. If he wants to stay it better be a fairly cheap, middle of the pack deal.
