Nick should be the back up over case tbh. Dude was needling passes. Made big time throws when he needed to.. I will not understand why we didn’t pass on that 3rd down. Nick was doing his thing, we should’ve given him the reigns to ice the game

I totally agree. I like Case too but his salary is a problem. Nick had great pocket presence and didn’t panic at all. He easily wins that game with Kareem or Jarvis playing.

Every game we lose the same way. It never works and we keep running all 3 plays and punting.
It was if they did not want him to win because he would have shown up Faker. That is why they did not let him even throw a 5 yard out in the final sequence.

Yeah Nick did much better than I thought he would especially in the second half. It was a very tough game to lose but the team played well under difficult circumstances.
This guy did a great job, considering the circumstances. He really wanted to win for Cleveland. Just needed a first down at the end to run out the clock, dam!

Nick Mullens did everything he could to win this game and did absolutely great considering the circumstances. The 3 recurring issues lost us yet another game: missed FG (all year problem), untimely dropped passes (all year problem), poor play calling in crucial moments (all year problem).
