Question, why hasn’t anybody from the front office to the back ( players) have come out and backed baker? Not the dance around generic stance, but actually call out and back him? I think from a mental stand point that would help the qb from being out in front of the the firing squad on a weekly base. This is supposed to be a team sport and it’s not all on baker for the way the season has been so far. The media as been louder on baker then any other player that I can remember since I started watching football since 1978. There is no way that any one person hasn’t heard the outside noise
@Philip Williams I agree but on the other side of things he is really in a catch 22. If he’s able to play and the coaches believe he is the better player even injured and he doesn’t and case plays and looses then he is going to criticized for not playing. If case plays and they win then he’s going to get roasted even more. It’s really sad to see Cleveland just crap on this guy. Even in Kozars years of playing he had a some bad years but back then fans still backed him through good times and bad.
I love the Browns just as most of you do, but let’s be honest, Baker is not playing like a Franchise player. If it’s injuries, then rest him, if not, then what. Baker or coaches?
@Michael Adkins it’s a bad season, the last half of last year we saw the potential, franchise players get hurt, they have bad games . I’m just in awe on how many people look past the injuries and think he sucks . Today’s society is I want it all , I want it now.
Alot of the players backed Baker! It’s the front office that is leaking rumors.

We need to play tougher than the Ravens for 60 minutes. We need to run the ball every first down no matter what , even if they stop us . So we can play action and screen pass to Kareem. We need to be tougher than ever and win this game. We need to BLITZ.

The problem is the trash play sets Stafanski uses. All you have to do is man up the 2 wr’s then run a zone to cover everyone else the Offence sucks. Its not the players its the play book!
So easy and bad that they nearly beat the Chiefs in the playoffs last year and are above .500 this year.
Yeah that’s it…not the players under playing at all, there’s no missed tackles there’s no blown coverages , there’s no pre snap penalties , there’s definitely no personal foul penalties . Yep you nailed it, it’s the coaches and the play calling.

As of today, the AFC North has the best w-l in the league, and today we have two games between the BEST. Bet the division crown doesn’t get settled ’til the last whistle on week 18. Browns and the North all the way!!!🙂
I have a funny feeling that the Browns win this one, but my feelings are about 50/50 so far. The Ravens are the only North team with a multi-game winning streak against CLE.
As a Browns fan, Mayfield needs to go. I no longer think we can win a Super Bowl with him.
