I have lots of respect for baker. Dudes super injured, he’s one of the most sacked QB’s in the league, our team is one of the top penalized teams, that kills drives. his receivers don’t get a lot of seperation and he’s had to play without hunt and Chubb lately. When the whole team was injured and coaching was a Mess, baker continued to be baker. The guys a warrior. He gutted it out for us yesterday in the cold and rain. That’s some real heart and drive that Cleveland needs. He’s been the most consistent part of this team this season. It’s not like this is a flawless team and bakers just sabotaging us and making us lose. Anyone who thinks that clearly isn’t watching the games.

    @StevenC32 Derek Anderson was in the pro bowl with a 10-6 record in Cleveland with no post season in 2007 I don’t think thats a valid point when baker has already done better than that

The question for Coach I would liked asked..
Coach, you have the best run blocking line in the league but they are average in pass blocking.
Add to that the best RB and leading the league in rushing as a team and a QB that needs play action to function ….
Why do you keep going empty backfield on passing downs, It’s like saying to the defense … “Come hit our injured QB”

    This year has been very frustrating. We almost have the detroit game away. It was like 2nd and 1 in the fourth, and we run 2 straight pass plays. Even chubbs big runs at the end… he needs to get out of bounds. We gave them sooo many chance

    @Edward Gaines my opinions on baker are so mixed. I’ve been a huge defender of baker no matter what the past few years. But his snarky attitude and inconsistent play is starting to take its toll. I know he’s hurt bad, but I’m tired of making excuses for him. If he can’t lead us to the playoffs this year, I’m done defending him. He’ll always have a special place in my heart though for helping us win a playoff game.

    @Edward Gaines Baker wants to support his teammates; Joel, JC, Nick, Myles & others said in interviews it motivates them to have their leader come on the field and play through his injuries, doing everything he can to help the team get the W.
    A lot of them have injuries, but much lessor degrees than Baker. If he can continue playing, they are inspired to follow him out there.
    And that “Pied Piper” effect is one of his strongest attributes, he is risking greater long term injury to himself. It may not be in his personal best interests, but it is the polar opposite of selfishness to push himself to be on the field leading his team. 🙄🏈

I laughed watching the broadcast when the O was motioning for the crowd to quiet down, and Bake just shook his head when I think they actually got louder. I was SMDH too. Do people actually not know to be quiet when the O is on the field? Hint: When the players move their arms up and down like a bird flapping its wings, it means STFU. Maybe they need to put “Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” cues on the scoreboards to help out the ignorant group of fans that are new to football.
