Love his positivity knowing the Bears situation. A true locker room guy that puts in the work. One of my favorite Bears players of the last few years. Hope he is signed for the long term and build off of our current young squad. There is a future here.
I love Monty but I fall on the belief of no second contracts to HBs. I hope he stays for a while too tho but we’ll see what happens in 2022
He definitely deserves that captains patch we hopefully bring back next year

@Slambam…..Him too. He leads by example, so that’s a given. Roquan and David are part of the young core of Bears that have been vocal leaders, in the locker room.

@DoubleM…If he had passion his whole career, and suddenly stopped I would be worried. He’s never been that guy, so I can’t knock that.
He hasn’t put up stats like his first season with the Bears, but:
1. He’s been playing through injuries since 2019 (on the injury list, dam near every week).
2. He’s getting older and his production is gonna naturally, dip a little.
Him and Quinn were ballin out, early this season. Our offense has been so stagnant for so long, we pretty much wasted his most productive years. He still has 2 or 3 years of prime production, but his contract is coming towards the end, soooooo we will see.
I think one more on both sides of the ball …add Mack 100% and I’d say Mooney if Robinson is traded
Complete class act. I can see him in the HOF at the end of his career.

David is top 5 running back in the league no question. When our line becomes better when Nagy’s gone David will have a monster season and Chicago better resign him or else they will regret it

Side Note: He’s left handed, but both times he threw the ball into the stands he was using his right hand.
I throw the ball with my daughter a good bit and we will both throw left handed at times (we’re both right handed). When throwing left handed we usually come in a lil closer to about 20-25 yds.
Still if I’m trying to get the ball to certain people in the stands, I probably wouldn’t ever do it left handed.
I hope the 32 knows that true fans aren’t giving up on HIM. We want and expect better from the whole organization, from the top down.
