This young man is an example of why I like Ryan Pace as the Bears’ GM. Same deal with “the Fam” — they have developed a culture where hard-hitting players are also high character individuals.

Pace is a good scout, but apart from that? I don’t think so.
@herne777 Yeah — but that’s the main focus of a GM: personnel. Pace doesn’t design plays; develop QBs or WRs; call blitzes; or, decide who starts/sits.
Pace is responsible for personnel: both from the college ranks, and from other pro teams. He’s not perfect — no one is. But the Bears have never had a better one.

This kid, barring major injury, has a solid future. A handful of teams had a late 2nd to early 3rd round grade on him. He visited Baltimore, Tennessee, Cincinnati, and of course Chicago before the draft. Seems like a real nice kid too.😀
We drafted a stud QB, a stud RB, and 2 stud tackles in the most recent draft. Don’t fire me yet!
