@Joe Nobody Abrams is good, he is a beast when it comes to the run, he plays the SS position very well. He struggles in coverage but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a valuable asset.

That’s an interesting take. I’ll be curious to see what we do or how they attack this first draft. Seeing the player types they grab for us will be huge in seeing how they want to build the team. I’m not projecting anything good or bad yet I gotta just wait and see.

@Rawdogger jo exactly. Josh will win with this team because Gruden built this team. It baffles me that these people don’t see it. I have to remember though. A lot of these clowns we argue with are very young or just don’t watch the games. I can’t argue with them anymore. Just like the Carr thing. I always supported Carr. But Carr haters said they wanted him gone and he sucks. But two really respected coaches love him. Blows my mind how stupid some of our fans are.

Gruden had us in the stone age

This isn’t about grudens team anymore, if this mentality keeps clinging on with gruden this and gruden that, then get ready for heartbreaking losing seasons people.

@Rawdogger jo Raider fans are clueless they will say anything just to sound like they know something. Most football IQ even most Raider YouTube channels are only memorabilia and Halloween dressing on Sunday. Jon and Mike build a playoff team. People forget who put the injured roster that still made it to the playoffs. OLine and Ruggs lost kilt a magical season under Jon, especially if he’s not targeted and Ruggs not gone. Look in history a west coast offense implementing, takes 3 years. Go to the 9ers who first well after Cin. Go to Jon first go around and this one. Josh took this job because.
A. You must have a QB that knows the west coast offense like a coach on the field.

B. Pass catching backs, slots and a good TE because the TE is the number one read 89% look at any team that runs the system.

There’s more but whatever. We got that in place already. No need to hope in draft, so they can focus on other like oline.

Roster is already together. Gruden and mayock brought in some really good players. I challenge anyone to show me a coach that hit on all of there drafts?

I say take a chance on the massive upside of Jordan Davis if he’s there. I feel like at worst he’s an elite space eater and run stuffer and after seeing how freakish he was at the combine at best he’s an unstoppable beast who develope’s as a pass rusher as well. These are the high upside type guys we need to start taking chances on. So sick of taking “solid players” we need to find possible stars

I also wouldn’t mind taking (cringe) another tackle if a good one falls. Looking at guys like cross/Ekwonu/Raimann/Penning or even interior guy Linderbaum who is one of PFF’s best graded centers of the last 10 years. I’m not totally sold on Andre James and at worst either James or Linderbaum could slide to gaurd
