@Amin James once again. Josh McDaniels scheme doesn’t require speed from his outside wrs. Just the ability to read coverages and run routes. This is not Jon grudens offense anymore.

@Trev 916 I understand that but he’s in the AFC west now not the AFC east they are not going to build the raiders like the Patriots we going against the chiefs twice a year.

@Amin James u don’t need speed to beat the chiefs. U need to be able to keep ur offense on the field consistently. The bengals didn’t win because Jamar chase is fast. They won because the offense stayed on the field. U cna say “he’s not gonna build the patriots” all u want. He’s gonna build his 21 personnel/ spread heavy offense. That’s his offense. Not the patriots. Bill had very little to do with the patriots offensive success. We’ll be a ball move the ball offense. Speed hurt us last year. When we had ruggs our offense relied heavily on him beating his guy deep and when he didn’t our offense stalled. It was only after we were able to be a more complete offense that moved the ball effectively. Speed is not everything. Yes it’s great to get a 50 yard bombs every other game but yk what’s better than that? Consistent red zone trips and a reliable offense. Once u have a good ball control offense the big plays down field will open up. And speed won’t be the reason they open up either.

@Trev 916 yes it will be speed wide receivers opens up the whole offense chiff did it.

@Misguided Angel – You never take a WR in the first round. You take the best O-lineman or D-lineman available. Then you go to the DB’s, then to QB, then to WR.

More of a retooling than a rebuild. If they start trading away players then we I would say we are in rebuild territory.

I think they only need 1 really. Or maybe one starter and a backup. Denzel Good will be back and he can play LG so they need a RT. They aren’t gonna move on from leatherwood yet which sucks but let’s hope he takes that year two leap

Yes, to include a solid RT, 2 DT, WR, and CB. Maybe get some players come in from NE, Carolina and the Giants familiar with the schemes. Exciting times once again.

WR as well. Drafting Drake London fills a big hole. The loss of Ruggs really hurt them after mid season.

Zero DT’s under contract. This team has a little more work than they are all making it out to be. Don’t get me wrong they are close but they need a lot of players.

I don’t do a lot of follow up on all the college players cause I don’t follow college ball but I check the mock drafts and watch videos about it close up to the draft and I’m always scratching my head at who they draft so I’m hoping this is the first year since 2014 that I’m not scratching my head when they make the first pick. Lol

But yet we made the playoffs because that money was allocated elsewhere. Seems like it’s not the biggest hindrance.
