What is this franchise even doing… mortgaged it’s future just to bring back the same roster that lost in the first round last year, then doesn’t even do that and loses the best WR in football. Picks aren’t going to help immediately and there is no way the team can use that money saved to put forth a better offense without Adams. There’s no better alternative, even if they did get OBJ and Julio. Just feels like they are moves out of desperation of losing Rodgers at this point.
this franchise under Gutey and especially MLF is doing 39-9 during the regular season and going to the NFCCG 2 out of the last 3 years. Yes, it’s not the big dance, but I’m grateful and appreciative to expect GB to win over 3/4 of their games…and who knows next season chances are even better they make it!

@Bill Marsh I guess, I mean I’d rather be a competitive franchise for sure, but this just doesn’t seem like the right move to raise the ceiling of the team. It raises the floor. I have the same frustrations with my team (Ravens) in holding onto and prioritizing draft picks when that won’t help you during a Super bowl window as much as established players will. I’m not saying the Ravens front office is perfect, because it’s not, but it’s still one of the best in the league and the packers moves just don’t make sense here.
