On Nov. 15, 1970, quarterback Bart Starr scored on a 3-yard rushing touchdown with seven seconds remaining, tying the game at 19. Kicker Dale Livingston secured the victory with a successful extra point, lifting the Packers to a 20-19 win over the Chicago Bears.

I remember that game well. I listened to a Chicago radio sports talk show after that game and Bear fans were calling in and lamenting why the Bears didn’t have a quarterback like Bart Starr and the host answered by saying that quarterbacks like Bart Starr are few and far between.

Been funny if Starr did the belt gesture and the ‘I own you’ schtick after he ran it in for the TD. But that just wasn’t the way he played.
