I don’t think Baker is great, but he was injured last season and was pretty good the season before… I do think he’s being slightly disrespected, its insulting to think he wouldn’t be worth a shot for some of these QB needy teams, though he does need to mature.

Bro he played with his shoulder falling off practically and played his best and the they just traded for Deshaun Watson for everything basically

@ItzEmS I fully agree holmes. But as a Steelers fan and most iimportantly a huge fan of the NFL as a whole – I had very low confidence that Baker was gonna turn the Browns around.. Not speaking bias either not one bit. How many first round QBs have they drafted over past decade or so? How many head coaches have they burned thru as well in that time??? Leaving them without a HC position as a result. Never giving the coaches a chance to settle in and get comfortable enough to gain the confidence that’s been missing since what???…. the 20th century lol. Cant white someone to league’s worse team then fire him for not making a polar opposite change in one season. And now, ABOVE ALL my statistically supported points – Since 2000 maybe longer, the Browns is where Quarterbacks go to die! Dare anyone to challenge my POV providing supporting evidence…… I’ll wait. Yea I just woke up all you other fans of the game. Remember, unbiased fan here. I respect all of our rivals and admit when my steelers suck and when we needed to 86 our future HOF’er Qb#7 before 2021 season. Also Baker was so selfish and eager to prove his toughness, that he played with a hurt left shoulder. Tho not his dominat shoulder, he knew it severely handicapped his throwing accuracy and esp his deep ball and would drastically/obviously get worse by the week. Still refused to let very capable and at that moment the more accurate and better Qb Case Keenum to take over so he can properly heal. Instead he put teams relevance and shot at winning and P/O chances at the bottom of the stack of priorities, placing him proving his toughness above all. First time I ever wished a football player to break his dominant arm, to allow his team to have a fair shot. I’m saying it here now.. and first. No matter what team he ends up on. He will never be he same nor close. Too late now, he himself lowered his ceiling and floor dramatically. His short lived prime has come and gone to next life. He has 4-5 years left in career. Only a few starts before being benched as a permanent back. My word, he will never be at the helm for a full season ever again. This isn’t hate by any means. Just a huge fan that’s seen it all before and you can see the fire continuously leaving his eyes with each public appearance. Said? Yea. But his old self that was ALWAYS full of intensity is lacking by the day and self destruction is more than apparent. If u browns fans havent noticed yet I bet my paycheck your realizing I’m right and bet you check his recent public appearances or wait till next one to see its painfully obvious. Also, real quick, I’ll mak thisnone short. Speaking of Cleveland being the final resting place for QB due to the many who went there, only to instantly reduced production and significant reduced numbers. The addition of Deshaun Watson was very confusing, head scratching and a misuse of cap space. The guy hasnt played a game in almost 2 years so like a box of chocolates, you dont kno wat ur gonna get! Sure he may have done somebenxh pressing here and there and played catch with his kids. When u include the year or so of a crazy amount of mental stress each day. You gotta kno he may show up in person. But mentality and emotionally hes damaged goods, often times likely not to have his head in the game focused 100%. Expect growing pains for close to half the season at least, and a huge lack of focus. Not worth the biggest 230mill contract along with the draft capital given away in addition. Now expect Texans to greatly improve by 2023..while bbrown hold the wildcard and a huge loss. No cap space for more additions

But that’s the problem. Instead of sitting out he played hurt so he couldn’t perform at his best. He put out bad tape, has a loud mouth now it seems no team wants to pick him up (plus the amount of money he’s owed 18 or 19 million) which is kinda sad cuz it’s not like he’s a bad QB. He’s solid
