Agree. Its players like Tyreek Hill giving an illusion that speed is everything on WR. But take away his superb speed? He is still an elite receiver, and people seem to forget that
@mariuholos exactly thank you, his speed is a cherry on top, but his routes are actually pretty good and his connection with the qb

Just because someone talks about a receivers speed doesn’t mean they’re ignoring the receiver’s other pluses and negatives.
WR classes are loaded every year because of the rules change and more 7 on 7 tournaments as the years have gone by. They’re more developed then ever but also more freakishly athletic

I wouldn’t say this class is loaded, but it’s got a lot of athletes. I do like some of the top WRs, but I don’t think it’s on the level of 2021/22.

Athletically ahead of alot people in the world. If these guys ere training for rugby it’d be unfair for everyone else.
Work on footwork & route running all the time and you can always get open. Can work on that solo

I am gonna say it now. Dotson Wide Receiver from Penn State is gonna be a house hold name in the game on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays… even Saturdays. Soon to be Wednesdays
Exactly. Personally think he’s the full package. Is he a bit undersized? Maybe. But the combination of the speed, hands, route running. Does everything right.

Dotson wasn’t near the top of any of the Combine workouts he did. His 40-yd is better than average, but the other numbers were below average. His stats show that he’s not a deep threat, but more of a slot receiver. Has short arms.
@SokemRokemRobot That just tells me u werent actually looking. He showcased low 4.4 speed (thats fast). He was the smoothest in the gauntlet showcasing soft hands, running thru the catch, and late hands (which is what you want). When running routes they were as crisp as anyone’s. His breaks might not be as mesmerizing as Wilson or his routes might not be as fluid as Olave, but the way he’s able to sink his hips and get into his break is beautiful. He doesn’t round his routes. While his measurables stack up to a Tyler Lockett, I think he has the potential to do even more damage in the league if given the opportunity

Falcons are going defense at pick 8. I’m really hoping Dotson somehow falls to us in the second round. He’s the best receiver in the class. I mean that. He’s gonna score a lot in his career. Has the best hands and can run any route. The boy from NDSU is a freak too. 6’4 running a 4.36 seems like Steelers Chase. The receiver class is pretty deep this year.

Fun fact Dotson is signed to my brother. James Wah. We are all from the same area. Myself my brother Dotson and Saquon Barkley. My bro went to school with Saquon at Whitehall high school. Dotson went to Nazareth. I went to a school called Bethlehem Freedom. Pa teams. My junior year we eliminated Saquon from districts. And my senior year we beat Dotson on their home field in a great game. I started safety #24
