@Cimarron It is funny. I’m a Steelers fan, but I think the point with the fanbase’s hype around Willis is that he presumably has more potential in the long run. Plus he seems more likely to fall to the Steelers than Pickett due to not being seen as “ready” for the nfl transition. Idk, I’m just guessing. Personally, I prefer Willis, but I’d be fine with taking either.

Keep hearing this vision the ceiling for Malik is the highest of any QB in this draft. So much goes into the potential or what you would call the so called ceiling the coaching the players development of the team team direction. Ownership of course. So how the hell does anybody know who has the highest ceiling. Did Tom Brady have the highest ceiling COME ON PEOPLE

@Eileen Ulick yeah you have to be trolling. Did you even watch the game? Ridder was easily the best or second best QB at the senior bowl. Ridder’s upside is the highest in the draft behind Willis.
First time seeing Willis and Pickett in action. These kids impressed the hell out of me lol

From Australia and i have only been getting into the NFL. But these kids the work they put in to be this level is admirable. But must agree with @Christian Crooms that ball Willis threw wow almost went to the moon!

Seems that the NFL is getting some real traction over there, I see more Australians watching now than ever, the NFL doesn’t make a big attempt to spread or expand like most sports so non-north american viewers aren’t super common.

@Tarrowzz I agree and hope that a nfl QB coach can mentor him with the intention to made some easy pre snap reads. Try to get him a warm in fuzzy before a deep dive into huge play time. Hope he gets a decent Pre season game or two if that’s shows he is at least ready to take the starting job. We know he can scramble and launch a missile but if he’s throwing 20+ picks his rookie season due to poor reads… yikes!
Malik with that deep ball was beautiful! I like this potential for the Steelers, him and a few offensive players, both on the line and a receiver or two, something magical
Hopefully we get a Jameis Winston in free agency and then add Malik Willis as a project. Give Winston the one year deal, he’s our day one starter and use Malik Willis like the Ravens used Lamar Jackson in his first season, as a receiver and runner who can also pass the ball. We will need Willis to be a role player tho. He can’t just bench warm you know.

Malik Willis and Kenny Pickett are the clear 1 and 2 after that combine. I would feel pretty good to draft either one of them at the end of the first round.
Nah desmond ridder in my opinion keeps on getting over looked wouldn’t be surprised if he has the best career
Lions are taking Willis at no 2 js….he looks just as good as Jackson to me we have used high picks on far worse talent imo

I’m intrigued by Malik Willis. He’s very raw and will need seasoning, but on tape you can see what he could become in the right situation. I’m excited to see him in the NFL.
Keep your eye on EJ Perry. He could be a Day 3 steal. Played really well in the East-West Shrine Game. Not the biggest, or strongest arm, but he’s accurate, and has great pocket presence. Like a poor man’s Brees in that way

All these analysts overlooking Desmond Ridder these past few weeks. Finally time he got true recognition here. Did an amazing job at the Senior Bowl.
Yeah Ridder doesn’t get the attention he deserves. His ceiling is a lot higher than a guy like Pickett. Definitely a sleeper and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he ends up being the best QB in this class.
@John Moore Ridder is my favorite in the class – ceiling is very high. I think he has everything except the elite arm. I think Pickett is also going to do well in the league – both have what you want in a team leader as well.
