“Dedicated to the haters, the non-believers, and the disgruntled.
Oh, no, I don’t want you to leave.
I want you to stay right here and watch Stafford rise to the top.
It feels better that way!”

Love it, I’m still going back to old comments from haters.

Invincxble

All the people who have mocked and hated on this man were silenced yesterday. Rest in peace haters

    Invincxble

@Anthony Mercado you realize that was not even close to the same team when Goff was on it? We get it, you’re a hater but you lost. Just take the L my guy.

    Michael H. G.

@Ty Nao Oh grow up, lmao.

    ςคςԵմร յคςҜ

    Stafford, I like your footwork😩

    Scott B

@Ty Nao rams were the better team. Blaming refs is for losers.

bruce lau

Long time coming For Matthew Stafford and him being on the Detroit Lions for so many years , and they settled on trading away Jared Goff and Those first rounders , what Matthew Stafford did in his first season with the Rams , man he brought the city of angels a NFL Super Bowl , he deserves his ring yessir

    ςคςԵմร յคςҜ

I’m a long time packers fan and I love seeing this guy play, I love the north division, hope Kirk does the same 😩

    Jason Lyle

The crazy thing is people tried to say the Lions won the trade lmao 🤣🤣🤣

Congratulations to Matthew Stafford for Winning The Super Bowl 13 years in the League. No one is more deserving than you. As for all the Haters & Doubters whom didn’t believe it could be done. Well he dd it despite all of the hate. Absolutely No one can take way what he did during his first season ( 2021-2022 ) with the LA Rams. I’m so Proud of him and I can’t wait to see what his next chapter will bring…Go Rams !

    Tony Lirette

Ditto…always rooted for stafford…very happy for him and his family.

NOLA Sports

It’s hard not to be happy for that man. Stafford, OBJ, and Eli Apple made it much easier to stomach the Rams winning as a Saints fan💯

    Arie Kattan

life long rams fan. absolutely love everything about nola and saints fans even tho they hate us

    sicfrynut

@Michael H. G. great pass catch on that SB winning TD. not sure if even the top cb’s could have stopped that play.

    JJ B

@Arie Kattan I’m a Saints fan and I find it ridiculous that we’re still mad at you. I’ve said that it’s ridiculous that Vikings fans are still mad at us for a game that happened 12 years ago. I hate that Saints fans still whine about that NFC championship game that happened 3 years ago. I’m already over it and I’m 17

    rareitem_

As a rams fan i wish yall woulda made to the bowl tbh. I wanted to see drew vs tom. But as controversial as the no call was if saints were up by 2 or 3 scores one singular missed call wouldn’t have won the game.

    JJ B

@Michael H. G. yeah because us Saints fans hate Eli Apple

King Raz

Arguably his best pass of the year wasn’t on here. The 22 yard pass to Cooper Kupp on that superbowl winning drive. It was a no-looker and it was absolutely perfect, in the biggest moment.

    Mizfitz shit

@James Bohnenkamp looking at your profile pic you’re still hurting. Get over it🤣🤣

    Renodrums1987

His best pass was that last pass to Kupp to beat the Bucs.

    chairmanofrussia

And they didn’t include Odell’s razzle dazzle pass either.

    Ty Nao

The Refs was the Rams biggest pass of the year. Imagine having your home stadium where the Refs have their headquarters and meetings

    KC

@Q if Patrick mahomes did that it would arguably be best play in NFL history

Fluffyguy958

He had a rough patch there in the middle of the season that had a lot of people worried, but man he really played amazing in the playoffs.

    Josh Romero-Burgan

I think his back was messed up for a good 3 or 4 weeks he wasnt putting enough in alot of his throws. Gun slingers throw picks . They all do and always have. He made up for it though

    Josh Romero-Burgan

@comet star he throws picks trying to make things happen. Marino did it Favre did it. They are both considered elite qbs and one never won a SB. Gun slingers throw picks. It’s just how it goes. Hes definitely elite. Only elite QBs lead 3 game winning drives in back to back to back games in the playoffs and the SB

    timothybredernitz

@comet star if you’re familiar with his last few seasons in Detroit, his receivers were better at tracking the ball. If they slow up its an easy catch with room to run usually. Marvin Jones and Kenny golladay were great at it. Like on the throw he hit DJax on vs the Seahawks. DBs will be watching receiver, and thus reacting to WR. Gives WR the advantage. Can’t really plan on that happening its a split second unspoken thing. But if you’re used to it its a much better option than a straight up jump ball. If WR isn’t really open, let them make a play on the adjustment. The game looks a lot different when you investigate the why’s a little more

    Melvyn D

He was injured in case people didn’t realize. It’s why he played so well be fun it’s and after the 3 week skid

Ranndooo Rolando

Matthew Stafford is a future hall of fame and He has a bright future with the L.A Rams

    Brandon Carpenter

Idk about HOF this is the first year he did good bc he was in Detroi

    Vuhmii

@Brandon Carpenter first year he did good in the post season you mean because hes done good almost every year as a quarterback

    FTB

@Brandon Carpenter His 2011 season was pretty amazing and is only overlooked because Brees was even more amazing that year

    Manuel Orozco

    I hope you’re right

    Dr. J

@Brandon Carpenter first year he did good in terms of team statistics, which no singular player could ever be responsible for when on the losingest team of all time. Stafford owns the vast majority of QB records: fastest to X amount of yards (20k, 30k, etc etc), most 4th quarter comebacks since entering the league, elite tier in game winning drives, etc etc.

Frank Parish

Real Stafford fans knows he’s top 5 quarterback in the NFL just couldn’t show it with the talented surrounded by him in Detroit

    Evan Germain

Fr if he gets 2-3 more rings they will say he’s still not hof worthy still lol

    Warren May

@kipaji he’s definitely not the best QB and you know that 😂

    JJ B

@Warren May maybe not the best, but he’s still good

    Warren May

@JJ B he’s okay in my opinion but I respect your opinion also

Vic Sprayberry

This year proves that Stafford was not the problem with the Lions….

    Meme-Lord

    no one said that

Drimc Smith The M&Ms Cookies fan

    @Meme-Lord Some Salty Lions fan

    FootClann 004

    @Meme-Lord you’d be surprised bro

People literally thought Stafford was the reason that the Lions weren’t “consistently good” because “hEs tHe Qb ” and should put his garbage team in the Playoffs year in year out

Dono Sterling Heights MI

Stafford never looks his receiver’s down..Everyone is a option He has instincts and timing is everything its like he syncs with his teammates and along with his god given talent more than helps others shine around him…

    JJ B

@Josh Romero-Burgan Goff also did that this year with the Lions. It was even more ridiculous when he threw a pass to the sidelines on 4th down against the Bengals, even though he had room to run

    Josh Romero-Burgan

@JJ B he did. I watched alot of the lions games this year waiting for the rams to come on just to see how hed do. And I cant tell you how many times watching I felt the same emotions watching him last year. He didnt get much receiver help. Swift being in and out didnt help. I just have come to the realization that hes not an elite qb

    JJ B

@Josh Romero-Burgan he can still beat the Cardinals though

    Josh Romero-Burgan

@JJ B yeah but that’s not saying much lol

    JJ B

@Josh Romero-Burgan did you watch the games that Tim Boyle played in? He was even worse than Jared Goff. His plays actually made my think, “perhaps I treated Goff to harshly”

james quinones

What a year for Mathew Stafford. First Year with the Rams and he accomplished so much; and in the end he finally won a Super Bowl.

    Manuel Orozco

I wonder how many more years he contracted for

Maggie Callahan

I’m so happy Stafford has a super bowl ring! He’s tough af and gives it his all!

CraftySouthpaw

Aaron Rodgers: “You’ll always be in my shadow, Matt.”

Stafford: “Hold my equal number of rings.”

    ςคςԵմร յคςҜ

Now I need Kirk and the Vikings to win and I’ll be solid gold 🤗

    sicfrynut

doesn’t have the relationship issues ole aaron has either.

    Jon Kemp

@ςคςԵմร յคςҜ Rams fan since 1975 have family that relocated from Minn 1968 we had many wars over the years. I think they are in great hands. I think they will be in at the Super Bowl 2nd year with the new leadership they definitely hired the right people to get the job done. If they can restructure Cousin’s contract and a few others this year they will greatly improve this year. they have plenty on offense add a few on defense and they will be scary. But I think they get it done in 2023-24 with cousins.

Barry Allen (barry allen)

Matt Stafford’s career is now a prime example of the thing most fans seem to have forgotten over the years. Football is a team sport. Not a QB sport. It doesn’t matter how great you are. If your team isn’t good enough you’re not gonna win a ring. That’s just the simple truth of this game whether people like it or not.

    Dr. J

@JJ B they had a much better Oline than Detroit, that’s my point. For example, lets take a look at the offensive line rankings from 2007-2009, Indianapolis had the 5th, 16th, and 23rd best run blocking Oline (Detroit ranked 31st and 32nd in that time). The Lions have never had an Oline that ranked as high as 5th. It wasn’t until the Andrew Luck era that the Colts began to have worse Olines than the Lions on some seasons, but even then the Lions frequently had worse lines (for example in 2015, when Indy was the 15th ranked Oline and Detroit was 24th). Peyton always had a run game. Stafford almost never did outside of one season.

    JJ B

@Dr. J alright fair enough. Their o-line still wasn’t good though. I’d argue that the Colts defense was worse during the Manning era

    Dr. J

@JJ B Maybe. I dont have time to look up the stats right now, but I will say Stafford has lost a lot of games where he got the Lions to an early lead, threw for 4 TDs, and over 400 yards. During Stafford’s time, the Lions would lose games where they scored 40 points practically every season. The Lions often fielded defenses that ranked in the late 20s to 32nd. They had one really good season the year they lost to the Cowboys in the playoffs, but other than that they were mostly either mediocre or flat out terrible

    JJ B

@Dr. J I mean, I wasn’t comparing Manning to Stafford. I meant the Colts had a worse defense in the Manning era than in the Luck era. All I meant by my original comment was Peyton was a QB who was so good, that he would fool the NFL world into thinking that the Colts were loaded, but yeah the Lions are like the Jets and Jaguars who waste talent

    Dr. J

@JJ B yeah I guess my point was Stafford had parity with Manning’s level of play, he was just on a much worse team. No one would have given that take the time of day prior to this past season, but people are beginning to wake up to the mostly hidden talent, and winning ability, of one Matthew Stafford

Team Time Riders

Match made in heaven. No way I wasn’t rooting for him after he took Tom Brady out. His story is just too good.

RichVid

funny how the conversation went from “will Stafford ever win a playoff game” to “will Stafford go to the Hall of Fame”

    Ty Nao

@sicfrynut Every team wants to win, it’s just up to the NFL referees to give the team the win. NFL prefers LA based teams, that’s where all the money is

    Jonathan

@sicfrynut used to be a dumpster fire, luckily ownership finally changed for the first time since the fords bought the franchise in the 60s

    Standing In The Rain

Yep, he will certainly be in the HOF. He has broken too many records and now has a Super Bowl ring and possibly more to come.

    Jonathan

@Standing In The Rain It’s definitely not certain, there are a lot of better quarterbacks that deserve to be the in hall of fame over him. He hasn’t been performing that well over the span of his career. Past 3 years have been good, one of those years were elite level.

    Begula

@Ty Nao I don’t know how the Chargers are failing then.

Domo🐍

It’s not talked about a lot but man his look offs/ no looks are scary good 🔥🥶

Tony Lirette

Never a fan of either rams or lions but always a fan of matthew stafford. Congratulations on your super bowl win. Stafford is class both on and off of the field. Keep it up, hope you win more super bowls and remind aaron rogers who the real winner is. In my book you are way ahead in how to live a life.

JJ B

Stafford haters say, ” He’s the same old guy he was in Detroit”
And my response to that is, “Yes he is. He’s the same old, gunslinger, side arm thrower, no-look passer, 4th Quarter comeback king he was in Detroit”

    Hoyman Hong

    Couldn’t agree more!!

    Adam Frosceno

absolutely. The dude has a fu***n gun for an arm

    5Church

    Thank you!
