@R Law I’m a dedicated 49er fan from before I went to college, which didn’t always go down well in Illinois. But I became a huge WP fan. There was just something about him.
I have argued in recent times that America doesn’t lack for good people or good leaders or inspirational people *but it certainly lacks all of that in its politics* but then so does everywhere including Australia.
I honestly think that someone like an Andrew Whitworth needs to step as a TRUE independent POTUS with no allegiance to any party.
If you go back historically POTUS was never meant to be what its become. The role wasn’t that broad. The emergency powers existed because it took time for congress to get back to Washington and make decisions. America needed a person to represent them on the world stage as “head of state”. But the running of the country and all the policy stuff was congresses job. The Senate was there to check things and make sure big states didn’t dominate.
I think America would be way better off with a less political POTUS who let congress do their job and *represented the best interests of the American people NOT any party or ideology.*
If Walter was alive he’d be a great pick. He isn’t but look at the list of WPMOTY winners and there’s a list of people *WHO LEAD* and *WHO CARE ABOUT* the American people. JFK had that line about NOT asking what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

I’m 20 years old and it made my eyes sweat
Used to live next door to Andrew when I was a kid in our hometown of West Monroe Louisiana. For my 12th birthday he came over to my house to spend some time with me and my friends and it meant the world to all of us. Whenever he was in Cincinnati during the football season he always made sure we put his pool to use when he wasn’t there to use it. Incredible player and person. Congrats Andrew!!!

True legend and SB Champ!! Everybody was talking about his speech that I had to go watch it. The look on Derrick Barnes face was special. To know Big Whit changed his life means so much to the little kid across the world who have dreams but don’t know how to pursue them and to have players come out and give them an ounce of hope is remarkable
