I can guarantee you that one of Ben’s top plays was a tackle he made
Maybe if you watched the video before commenting you’d see it’s in here.
i was 8 years old when that happened my heart litterly skipped a beat
He’s gonna have his spot in Canton, Ohio
Another addition to the Steeler Wing in the Hall of Fame.
An all time great, no doubt about it
@AGNÉZ Buny Girls honoring Big Ben’s legacy, well done hahaha
Big Ben really had some the craziest pump fakes ever
GOAT pump fake
He would pump fake the camera man so badly
In the cold-weather games when Ben wore gloves, I was thinking one of these times the gloves would fly off his hand with one of those wicked pump fakes.
man i was looking for the ball in most of his pumps…
A killer pump fake
Roethlisberger is tied w/ Brady/Brees for #2 all-time in game-winning drives w/ 53 (Manning #1 w/ 54)
His top seasons:
Always gave the Steelers a chance – even when he was doubted most.
A winner, until the very end. #ThankYouBen
@Pokémaker Big Ben Will Always Be A Pittsburgh Steeler Until The End.
Would’ve been 54 this year if Claypool didn’t celebrate his first down instead of helping them spike😂
That game against the Vikings was almost the biggest comeback in regular season history
@BrendeneoTV Just tells us how clowns like SAS were flat out wrong, Big Ben was the least of the Steelers problems dispite being far from his physical prime.
Ben’s ability to break tackles and extend plays for his size will always be satisfying to watch 🔥🔥
He was a guy who never took “NO” for an answer.
@Lou Giacobbi nice original joke you got there. You made up the one about the chicken crossing the road too, right?
Ben at his absolute best is as good as any quarterback ever!
Absolute hero for The Steelers. The man always gives it his all in every game, even with bad knees and a tired arm, I’ll miss seeing him on the field.
Hey chief warrior status during a game in Baltimore, when his nose got broken and he just wiped away the blood and kept on playing. Old school toughness.
When Big Ben was in his prime, he would literally make defenders trying to sack him look like children trying to tackle their dad in the back yard.
@Souparna Das positive thoughts. They are in a new era now. Post Big Ben
He paved the way for my boy josh Allen
O
@allthingspeju Big Ben Will Always Be A Pittsburgh Steeler, Happy New Year Ma’am
@Souparna Das we had the best 0 line for like 2 years in trhe past 5 years lol u rememebr the lev era?
I’ll never forget the Indy game where Big Ben made that game saving tackle..He made sure Bettis wasn’t going out like that
Been a Bears fan for over 20 years, anguishing over the horrendous QB’s we’ve had. One of those years I lived in Pittsburgh, and the Steelers became my adopted team. It was so fun to cheer for Big Ben that year. With all due respect to Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes, I’d prefer to have an 18 year Ben Roethlisberger career for a Bears QB. Don’t think its gonna be Fields. Maybe one day.
I agree with you. I commented that on another video, that if I could go back and put Brady or Manning in Ben’s place for 18 years instead, I’d still want Ben. There’s just nobody in the league more exciting to watch than a younger Ben in his prime playing his unorthodox backyard style football. The way he could extend plays wasn’t seen before. Watching him for the past 18 years as a Steelers fan, there have been so many times where he DOESNT end up making the play after he tries to extend it, and every time I always thought to myself “damn Ben is tough, if he were any other QB right now they would have blown the whistle 10 seconds ago”. Because he’s Ben and he’s made so many plays like that over the years, he had that reputation and it seemed like even if there was 0% chance he gets away from the defense the refs would never blow the whistle early to protect him the way you see them end some plays for other QBs instead of letting them actually get tackled. Because of that he took a lot of abuse over the years and is the most sacked QB in nfl history. Much appreciation from Steeler Nation for putting his body on the line for us for 18 years. He’ll probably be the all time Steeler great at QB for all of my life. Thank you 7!
The bears have always been my nfc team and I’ve always found their fans to be loyal like us. Hopefully we won’t have as dark years as you do and I hope fields will do well for you guys. I think he has good potential
Me Too Kyle Sakowicz, Happy New Year Sir.
As a bengals fan fan… huge respect to Ben… he was so damn tough and hard to bring down. HOF for sure
Growing up my Dad and I loved watching him play as we were both Steelers fans. My dad passed away 10 years ago and with Ben retiring it’s like a piece of him is gone. Tough moment.
Same here, I lost my dad last year and seeing Ben retire makes it even more sad.
Similar story, just be glad those moments happened. There will be better ones in the future
My prayer and condolences to you my friend! I know how that feels, my dad and I are big Steelers fans and I can’t imagine how that feels for you. Much love my fellow Steelers fan!
So underrated for his entire career. In my book a top 10 QB of all time.
Yes exactly top 10 all time
Fax
He was under rated by national media and fans because he was always in the shadow of Brady and Manning. Plus he didn’t have great Fantasy stats, so people didn’t think he was great, since Fantasy stats are all that matter to some.
I think just about anyone agrees with you he’s top 10
@Chris McLendon A solid number 7
A Legend.. and still underrated
People forget that Ben ran a 4.7 40, at 6’5” 250 pounds. That’s freaking impressive. It’s literally the same time Josh Allen got.
Cam newton ran a 4.5 40 at 6’6 250
@FreeChop So Ben is almost like a more accurate newton?
@Chris McLendon when did you come to believe big ben is accurate. And big ben is not mobile
@FreeChop It has to be one of the following things: You’re a 12 year old getting into football and you watch Jackson’s Tik Toks, you’re a Steelers hater or you live under a rock, for the best part of his career Big Ben was both accurate and Mobile, and he had a hell of an arm, being Mobile doesn’t mean being like Lamar who runs for 200 but throws 15 INT’s a game, it is the ability to extend plays and avoid the sack, getting yards is an extra after avoiding a loss of yardage
@FreeChop Superbowl 43
Ben’s ability to break tackles and extend plays for his size will always be satisfying to watch
Superbowl 43 was one of the greatest games ever played and it ended with one of the best plays of all time. Big Ben retires a legend
As a Raven s fan, This is a great video. Ben was soooooo hard to sack. He had great down field vision
This list focuses a lot on his “keep the play alive” highlights, which is exciting but not nearly as impressive as the 1200 ridiculous throws into tight coverage I watched him make for 18 years. His accuracy when game was on the line was as good as any qb in history. Top 10 all time qb, no question.
I can definitely remember Ben throwing lasers to Santonio Holmes and other receivers. But his ability to extend plays was unreal. Backyard football at its finest
Toughest QB to ever play the game and we won’t see anyone like this ever again. I LOVE YOU BEN!!!!
