“The Colts are the team that no one will play in the playoffs”

    Oved Franco

@Reuben Alvearwell said my friend. Some analysts shouldn’t voice their bad takes.

    Reuben Alvear

@Oved Franco Thanks. Nowadays, it appears some analysts shout and make “bold predictions” simply for the sake of trying to stand out or come across as edgy, imo.

I like listening to Steve Wyche and Tim Hasselbeck. They don’t yell into the camera. Nor do they shout at the person they’re talking to, as if the receiver of their message is standing three blocks away. Hass and Wyche do, however, appear to study the game 👍

    Eli Kramer

@Reuben Alvear as a chiefs fan, I’m still terrified of Jonathan Taylor.

    Reuben Alvear

@Eli Kramer As a Titans fan I fear nobody, dammit! J/k 😛 Jonathan Taylor can play.

    Benny Pit

But people putting the blame on Wentz is misplaced. Yeah he played his worst game of the season but every other Colt did too. His first int in an away game of the year… and it came in the last game of the year in a 17 game season. And Indy traded him away for nothing, BIG mistake IMO.

Vulcan Raven

Jags have won 7 straight home games vs Colts. Impressive!

    Minilogoman6

@JayBirdDynasty wow I still got u talking about us smh 😂 Damn there goes Another L

    JayBirdDynasty

    @Minilogoman6 stay taking Ls boy

    Minilogoman6

    @JayBirdDynasty ik you do

    C-Dawg’s World

    @Johan nah

    Flaccid Ego

Not a Jags fan but I believe Lawrence is gonna be a dam good QB in the future. If they don’t ruin him of course.
They really threw him to the wolves this year. Green rookie QB with no offensive support.
Used to be a time when there was a 2-3 year learning process before u made ur QB draft pick ur starter. It was sort of an NFL QB apprenticeship.
Kurt Warner does the color commentary for the Monday night NFL Westwood 1 radio broadcasts & he has been extremely adamant about not throwing rookie QB’s to the wolves like was done to Fields & Lawrence. He said such careless disregard by organizations to not groom ur QB draft pick at least 1 year has ruined many potential talents because they either never mentally recover from the public embarrassment of being sacrificed on the field every week & ridiculed by fans & media, or they develope very bad habits on the field that they can never break as they mature & never woulda developed had they watched, studied & learned on the practice field, the sidelines & in film room or they develope chronic injuries from being sacked & hit so much because their bodies are not conditioned for the size & talent level the pro game has to offer.
If the weight of pressure don’t break em down, the weight of developing bad habits will.
I think Trevor is mentally tough enough to make it but I think Fields might be what Warner has long warned as another potentially good NFL QB mismanagement casualty. There’s been many.

MCHkid13

Disappointing isn’t enough to describe the Colts. Good job Jacksonville. Y’all played your heart out.

    Tyler Ricker

@MIKEHONCHO how bad will the Steelers lose to the chiefs you think? 21?

    MIKEHONCHO

@Tyler Ricker I think it will be close, maybe a 7-10 point difference

    Mark W

@Let common sense prevail , not Wentzs fault. I blame the Colts D more then Wentz. Jags are pathetic and the Colts D couldn’t stop them

    Mark W

@Joe Ceonnia , the Colts D blew this game more then Wentz did

    Mark W

@Joe Ceonnia , he didn’t play that bad. Colts D sucked

Sebass

No matter how bad the Jaguars are and how good the Colts are, the Jaguars will still beat the Colts in Duval, thank you from a Steelers fan ❤️

    Wazemo

@Watch & Learn are you sure we are the worst run organization, I mean Mara and Gettleman were terrible but did you see what the jets did to osemele a few years ago?

    ChiefBlue4298

Now y’all get the prize of destruction by the Chiefs. It was almost as if you were never there lol

    Gravy ψ

    not this time bub

    Renaldy Calixte

@MasonSZN It’s better to get blown out in the playoffs then not even make the playoffs. 2021 Patriots.

    Renaldy Calixte

@GhstW0rld Kenny Pickett ain’t that good in my opinion.

Titansfan1997

The Colts had 7 pro-bowlers this year. The best part? They’ll all be there!

    Zay Time

@[Balance] Yupp and we got one of the top QBs in the league and he didn’t make it bills still don’t get the respect we deserve

    iGreenzUpz

@[Balance] Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen should’ve made it

    JT Hoffman

Good job! Same number of playoff wins as us! See ya next year

    Ryan

When is the last time the Titans did anything meaningful in the playoffs?

    ULIKEMYKUNGFU ?

@Ryan 2 years ago. They ended the patriots dynasty and sent Tom Brady to Florida to retire.

IamJohnTravolta

This was the perfect kind of game for Trevor and the Jags.
Trevor can end the season on a high note but also is showing he’s not completely destroyed from this horrible season. Let’s get some new management next year and start building something

    DICK TRICKLE

…and thanks to the Lions didn’t lose any draft position!

    @Edward Amadi 😂😂👌🏿

April Second Productions

The Jags just let their division know they are coming with a vengeance next season. Excellent game by T-Law , Marvin Jones & Damien Wilson !

    junior hernandez

Trevor will be the best QB In this division for years to come as soon as he gets weapons next season I think this is a preview!!

    d3mon knight

@Jackson Killman it really was… I enjoyed watching Luck play. And I can understand why he wanted to retire all the sudden.

    d3mon knight

@junior hernandez we need to get a new 1st string O-line for him as well. They cause to many penalties can always crumble mid season. Norwell is drying up, Lender has always been bad and always getting hurt same goes for Cam Robinson and Jawaan Taylor has just never been anything special… this past Saturday was all backup I believe and they did fantastic

    encycl07pedia

    April fool.

    AspireGD

Yeah maybe they’ll go 5-12 next year.

D P

In the last 2 seasons, the Jags have…
-2 wins over the Colts
-2 wins over the rest of the NFL

    Derek Ko

4 wins over teams with winning records (at the end of the season)

    Fidget DK

@ThePhoenix 2 wins over the rest of the nfl makes no sense to me since they were 1-15 last year

    Bobby Mariani

@Andrew Jacobitz technically the London game is a “home” game so our last away victory was in Oakland.

    Joshua Echt

Reminds me of the ’99-’00 Browns. The team was 5-27 but 2-2 vs. the Steelers! Lawrence is going to be a good QB and #23 is a good RB for JAX.

    Eli Kramer

@Fidget DK I get it they beat the colts twice, but only get two wins against every other team they played the last two seasons.
    It ain’t rocket science.

carter james

As a colts fan, this was one of the most embarrassing ending to a season I’ve experienced in a while. Not just this game, the past few weeks included.

    Jay Black

@Mark W Watch Joe Burrows today. Raiders wil try to shut down the run, forcing J.B to win it on his arm. If the Bengals lose, Joe B. Will wear most of the fault. If the Bengals win, Joe gets to whip out his cigar. In big games, the best Q.B.’s overcome, or they wilt. It’s not always fair, but it’s how the big games play out.
Pressure makes MVP’s, and it’s typically the guy in the pocket.
Wentz will never get the Colts where they want to be.

    Mark W

@Jay Black , again people need to stop with the narrative that the QB is the end all be all of winning or losing games. Damn that pisses me off. So if the Bengals D allows the Raiders to score multiple times, they don’t get the blame? If the Bengals have a 3rd and 5 and make a first down only for it to be called back for holding and now it’s 3rd and 15 and they don’t convert, that’s JBs fault? So many things tie into a team winning or losing, not just the QB. What if the receivers drop multiple passes, is that still JBs fault? People need to stop thinking of the QB as the only person on the team that either wins the game or loses it

    Mark W

@Jay Black , so look at the Dallas game against the Cards. 4 out of the first 5 drives for Dallas ended due to penalties by the O-line on 3rd down. It went from 3rd and 4 to 3rd and 14, from 3rd and 4 to 3rd and 9, from 3rd and 1 to 3rd and 11 and 3rd and 10 to 3rd and 20. Yet it’s Daks fault that he couldn’t convert those long 3rd downs? Also think about that receivers have to get open. If they can’t get open, is that the QBs fault? If receivers can’t get open, who does the QB throw it to

    Val Kendrick

@Mark W exactly, we fell apart, they just idk, and you’re right, I’m not blaming Wentz, the whole team was bad, bad plays, bad defense, hell we couldn’t even get the ball down the field. Disappointing end to our season.

    IZAIAHTHEPRINCE🤴

    Exactly man

Peter Livengood

From a Steelers fan – thank you Jaguars. Thanks for playing your hearts out to give us a chance at the playoffs!

    Big DOGE

@Chris L. there is obviously better wild card teams then others tho and Steelers ain’t it they lucky to even be in there

    Chris L.

@Big DOGE I completely agree. I never said they were good, only that they were there.

    billy bob

If you think Steelers have even the slightest chance to win the superbowl you should place a bet because the payout is at ×90. A measly $3 would get you $270 back. It’s only 4 wins and upsets have been happening a lot this season.

    Catherine Baum

You need all the chances you can get.

    AspireGD

Crazy how the steelers got in over the colts and the chargers, that just makes no sense.

Gracialon Ignasiver

The Colts were a playoff team last season that had a strong defense and running game. They also had Wentz’ former OC as their HC. This was the perfect conditions for Wentz to revitalize his career and show that the Eagles made a mistake. But it looks like the Eagles made the right decision giving away Wentz and keeping Hurts. When it mattered most Wentz did what Wentz does best and that was not be clutch.

    Chi Chis

    @Henri M Michael Jordan 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    Fat Stimpy Cat

@Henri M Yup,,, bounce back and forth between different teams!

    Fat Stimpy Cat

@Henri M Irsay mad as hell about Wentz not getting the vax and crapping his pants against the raiders and Jags.

Sports Junkie

In a must win game against a 2 win jaguars team Colts played with no heart Energy or pride. Big changes needs to be happening In Indy.

    Stephen Trader

Can’t do that no first round pick, need wrs, better pass rush, better cbs.Qb class is bad

    mariomanningfan

I’ve said since they released Manning, Indy needs a new owner. The entire culture of this organization is flawed. Irsay’s offices always fall short…always make the wrong choices personell wise. its not fair really to be upset with a player for being only as good as they are. Its the front office that is telling you Wentz is a SB caliber QB when he sure doesn’t play like it. And irsay is the one that brings those guys in

    Kam Cripe

Yes but it won’t. New a new GM and QB. Wentz was alright mid season but his last month was atrocious. Too much talent on this team to not be in the playoffs.

    James Hollister

They blaming Wentz but the colts as an entire team did not play good. The jags wanted after losing so much. The colts should of took them serioud but I blame the coach not Wentz

    tbheywood

@El Scruffo McScruffy This comment didn’t age well. Lol.

RIPLemmyKilmister

Imagine choking your season away to a 2-14 team surrounded by a bunch of clowns

    Poem2k❗️

Jags crowd popped out this game🔥

Light White

The amount of drops by the jags receivers all season is mind blowing

JahNuhThun Dee The One And Only

Imagine not being able to win at Jacksonville as a division rival since 2014…only the Colts

    Andrew Young

And we can’t win in Seattle 🤷‍♂

    Damien Rubensson

I know that feel bro, we haven’t been able to beat our big brother (49ers) in a regular NFL season game since last decade! Feels bad man =/

    Zenzu

Steelers can’t win against Jacksonville guaranteed if it’s a playoff game 🤣🤣

On the same note jags can’t ever beat Tennessee 😤

    B L

This is one way to let everyone know you don’t understand the dynamics of football and divisional games. Also, that name screams “I’m 12 and had my first energy drink”

Brap style fo1too

Way to go Jags!!!! End the season on a positive note, there’s a lot to look forward too! Lawrence played great, just a dominant showing. On the other side, the colt’s at times this season, looked like one of the AFC’s better teams but it was not to be! Better luck next year!

    Paul Trigger

agree Lawrence played well. He would have had a few more completions and a TD if receivers could consistently catch the ball, but that scramble TD was a sick catch.

    ben there

There Wentz the colts season! 😂

just some minced garlic

LFG jags. Huge morale win, still got the first overall pick and get to go into the off season with some momentum. Trevor finally looked like the guy he was at clemson and I couldnt be happier. What a show.

B Healy

As a Bills fan, I feel a little better knowing someone else lost to the Jags

    jooper99

It’s going to be Brady and the Patriots at the Superbowl again. Just stay home.

    Catherine Baum

Hey! Good jab! There is always next season. DUUUUVAL!

    Ryan Davis

    How ya feeling now

    Benny Pit

But 2 very different types of losses. Here the Jags played great football on both sides of the football… that can’t be said about the Buffalo game.

joe

I love how the Jags were like “nope, if we aint going to the playoffs, neither are you!”

Moshe Couzens

As an eagles fan, this is ALOT of fun to watch. Even though we got destroyed by the bucs, we made the playoffs with hurts while wentz couldn’t beat the worst team in the league to get in. Beautiful

    Scitists

In my opinion I think the worst team is the Jets

    Scitists

    They are just awful
