He’s playing his 15th game of the year today and Strahan played 16 in 2001 so Strahan actually played more game than Watt this year

AND he did it in less games and the sack wasn’t a gift from his buddy just laying down for him, he EARNED it.
@submissivelover Reggie didn’t play against any replacement players in 87 but he surely benefitted from no training camp as far as the other teams having any prep time or conditioning.
@Paul Yes he did, in 1987 the whole league was replacement players. Approximately 15% of the NFLPA’s players chose to cross picket lines to play during the strike, Reggie was one of them.

@Johnny Barrios AB was too dependent. Without Ben AB didn’t look like AB granted we didn’t have competent back ups but TJ just had a historical season on a below average defense while going to the playoffs and winning DPOY.
Glad he didn’t get lazy once they gave him that monster contract!

Steelers got lucky they signed him BEFORE the season, BEFORE he tied the record and BEFORE he messed around and won DPOY. The price would have gone up like crazy!
