Brady supposed to be the GOAT so he should have still got the win.
The Saints were without their HC, starting QB, in a abysmal offense and still managed to win by nothing but 3 FG’s.
That’s also 4 times in the RS the Saints embarrassed Brady, twice he lost to the Saints’ backup QB’s, and once getting STF out.
The Saints’ defense is Tom Brady’s kryptonite……WHO DAT?!

The cardinals were overated and the lions just need a good qb so i think brady getting shut out was more of a shocker

@Uriah Listing The Saints do very well against pocket passers because they play excellent man to man defense. Mobile Qb’s hurt us because we have to play zone and it’s not our strength

@English With Joshua Agreed. They need to stop legislating defense out of the game. Those tight low scoring games are usually intense with a lot of hitting. I don’t want to watch an NBA style up and down track meet every week. This is FOOTBALL.

@Geography_V Um, no one said football was hockey. Some people just appreciate defensive battles as opposed to track meets. And by the way, 9-0 in hockey constitutes a serious blowout. Apples and oranges my friend.

*Saints defense was ready for Brady tonight. They were dropping 4-5 guys back into coverage while sending in at least two rushers on every passing play. To hold Brady and the Bucs to zero points is a fairly major accomplishment. Congrats to Saints.*

My Saints pulled off a great win! Defense was amazing to say the least, only thing I wish they had done was try to get Kamara more involved, let him run a few screens to throw the pass rush off a little. Even though we haven’t been the best team this year beating Brady twice is all I could have asked for this season it was a christmas miracle for sure!
@Ken Sturm of course if this game mattered he wouldn’t have lost, Brady only loses to bad teams like the Bears of last year
only reason the offense want more involved was because Sean had let Dennis Allen in charge of all plays and he didn’t want him to try and make calls that he would make .

The look of frustration on Brady’s face is reward enough for me. Good job, Saints!
@Cheryl Joseph no one is jealous of him. There are many people who believe that he has contributed to the downfall of this great sport. He has received more favoritism from the league front office than any other player. What do I mean by favoritism? Start with the tuck rule game against the Raiders and then look over the years at the numerous times that questionable calls have gone in his favor to save him.

Brady has aged incredibly, and you rarely see evidence of him being in his 40s on the field. However, it does pop up from time to time, especially against teams who can get pressure against him and aggressive secondaries who can effectively blanket his receivers. His arm strength isn’t quite what it used to be and whatever minimal quickness he might’ve ever had has been pretty much entirely diminished. He basically relies on great offensive line protection and complete mastery over reading defenses and exploiting them. When defenses can break through his line and receivers, he gets exposed pretty quickly.

When things go wrong random qbs make random plays all the time. We’re all human, no need to over analyze the mistakes in the career. Tom Brady is simply undeniable at this point; on and off the field, all phases. His presence matters
Has nothing to do with age…he’s played the same way his whole life. Movement, accuracy, progressions, etc….it’s all the same year after year
The saints just dominated. I haven’t seen this sort of defensive dominance against the bucs yet, including the win last season.

Both defenses showed up to play.💪🏽 That’s the first time in 15 years that Brady has been shut out. And also both of my teams beat Brady this season. Washington is my main ride or die favorite team, but the Saints have always been the other team that I liked too. And both teams had the same record (6-7) until after this game. The NFL is so unpredictable. That’s why u gotta love this sport

Only difference is Aaron faced Jamies Winston (who threw 5 tds) and Sean Payton was there. Aaron wasn’t at HOME and he didn’t get SHUTOUT. And it was in a distant week ONE. Don’t remove context to make the two similar, they aren’t 😂😂
Even though this was a low scoring game, plenty of exciting plays. Seeing the ball knocked out of Brady’s hands, a defensive masterpiece.
