This cowboy defense has been getting better every week. Treyvon Diggs and Micah Parsons are going to be special for a long time..Also last year they had a whole of 10 INTs.. They have 22 with 3 games left this year. #howboutdemcowboys

@Boo Blanco – Maybe when the line blocks better…He also has to keep working to get open…I think a lot of this season has been up and down…I noticed a drop off in the offense since Dak had the calf issue..maybe his is not getting that push off needed to get the ball downfield like he has before…hopefully they will get everythign back together before the playoffs start

This defense is still making plays. Once the offense connects they’ll be a problem for sure but good win

I still wish Dallas could do more on offense but a win is a win.
Also Fromm didn’t look bad at the end of that game for NY.
@David Hill exactly, he had at least 8 yards if he chose to run on that play, If you re-watch the game against the Saints which is on youtube, he had all kinds of opportunities to run and pick up huge plays and keep drives alive, especially at the beginning. He could make the cowboys a much bigger threat adding this other dimension which would force defenses to respect that and open up their receivers a lot more.
@Kurt Morris Cooper rush isn’t half of what Dak is on a bad day. That guy sucks, and has proven it on multiple occasions.
@TME8 Dak only performs well when he’s got all his tools working well, he’s otherwise garbage. If they would use him to his full potential by which I mean his legs as well as his arms, that may be somewhat more accurate although Rush can run well also. And he also didn’t have Tyrone Smith when they beat the Vikings. The same OL man that Prescot has played miserably himself during Smith’s absence. And how has he proven it on multiple occasions? he played one game against the Vikings and won with a noteworthy performance.
@Kurt Morris I think it’s the same thing going on with Wilson in Seattle. After an injury, both are very hesitant to be a dual-threat QB again. Dak is still very good just from the pocket. We’re seeing how average Wilson is without the run game.
@TheFootballMathGuy yeah, I don’t follow Seattle as much as I do the Cowboys but I do remember Wilson being a big running threat. If he’s not running like he used to, that takes away a whole dimension of your offense and may be a big problem as to what’s wrong with the Seahawks

@Isiah Duran its kind of the opposite, honestly. He misses an extra point early in the game every now and then, but hes been pretty clutch with late FGs that have mattered. Yes, an extra point can come back to make the difference but thats usually not the case. He certainly has his issues but overall I still feel confident with him kicking clutch FGs. Was there even a game this year that we lost directly due to him ?

@Nicholias Parham he made his fgs, all 4 or 5 of them. He misses 2 extra points. He has been in situations before to win it many times and delivered for the Cowboys.

I doubt he sticks around after this year. He’s in his contract year and he will want to get paid with his next contract. The Cowboys can’t afford him.
It’s Jerry & Stephen Jones we’re talking about here, they can find a way to work the cap to Dallas’s advantage, they always have.
As a cowboys fan seeing Fromm move down the feel made me happy always cool seeing backups get their shine
The Cowboys now have as many wins (10) as they had losses last year. Pretty great turnaround when a lot of people were predicting this team would win 8-9 at most. The offense really appears to be sputtering at times lately, and that’s just inexcusable with the kind of talent on that side of the ball. But on the bright side, we are watching the defense blossom into something special. And there are many more cases in NFL history of a good defense carrying a so-so offense to a title than the other way around. The (hopefully) good news is, this isn’t a so-so offense when they play to their potential. If the Cowboys could just put it all together, they would be one of the top two teams in the conference no doubt.
I think the offense stagnation started when Dak had the calf issue…also, you have to look at the issues with the O-Line, guys in and out of the lineup, receivers missing for a few games…they have also played some teams with good defenses as of late and not sure that Zeke is at 100% as he was previously when the running game helped open up the passing game…Lots of issue, to look at…Hopefully they can put up a few more points to keep

I do think anyone watching this team last year ( especially this defense ) would have thought this team would be 10-4 at this point. Excited to see how it all plays out going forward
What? I completely disagree. If it weren’t for Micah parsons and Diggs (two rookies) then the Dallas Cowboys record would be 7-7 easy. Zeke is past his prime and dak is overpayed. In two years the cowboys will be a dumpster fire team again once they realize they can’t pay to keep parsons and diggs
@Michael Slayton I mean we can do IFS all day long but we do had them because we sucked the last few years but either way this team is trending up and as far as Dak be careful what you say when you think about our past QBs. The Zek thing is valid
@Michael Slayton they will have money for diggs and Parson. Jude got to part ways with Zek , DLaw and Collins. Parsons is least 4 years away cuz he is on a rookie contract with a fifth year option
@Wesley Barnett then explain to me how the defense was historically one of the worst defense in 2020 went to being 10th in the league in 2021. Was an obvious prediction they’d improve but you are not looking at why they improved. Knowing the cowboys they’ll pay Pollard before Diggs or Parsons. Dak is overpayed. For his production and his salary. He’s decent but unable to carry teams like elite QB’s yet he is payed like one.
@Michael Slayton well we changed the whole staff and actually have very good position coaches and Diggs was there last year when they are beyond awful but we had a great draft this past year after the parsons pick and the free agents have played better than past free agents. This goes back to my point Excited about the future. So many Cowboys fans can’t see what is right of front of them. This team is much improved from a coaching and player standpoint. If you can’t see that then I really don’t have much to add to this conversation.
If Daniel Jones was in there it would have been a closer game for sure. We would have lost 21-9.

That was a Delay of game not Offsides and even though that fg would have been good from 63 vs 53, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have attempted it and the no call on the delay of game at the end which continued their drive was BS to. had the game been tied, Dallas doesn’t waist a TO and challenges that fumble at the end and wins.
For the first time ever in a season I’m actually more excited to see the cowboys defense play than the offense . Defense is playing lights out . Defense wins championships!
