Hangin’ with the Boys: One Simple Thing | Dallas Cowboys 2022

Nate says it’s simple – the one thing this team needs to do is fix the offensive line. Doesn’t sound so simple to the rest of us. The boys talk about the progress of the offseason, what’s been done and what is still needed, plus a little Oscar talk, the Final Four and hunting for Panini cards.

M West

Go Cowboys!!!

Albert Carranza

I agree 1000% Mr. Newton. We need an offensive line.

    Mark Chavarria

Yup! Can’t run or throw without em!

    James Ruff

And if we throw the ball 45+ times a game we are screwed

Bigdog 3004

Miss the daily shows.

Cowboys Talk starts at 9:25

    JJ

    Stevie Mac23

@JJ  where am i whining? Lol

    Delwin Alvarez

@JJ I appreciated his comment because I tune in to listen to the Dallas Cowboys. Not their personal lives or other nonsense

killrdragn

I tried doing a rebuilt on madden with the cowboys not that easy gotta say.

Kevin Porter

Position Flex means that you don’t really know what to do with your player,in your scheme…I.E. Byron Jones… Micah Parsons is so talented that it’s easy for him…
Certain positions are flexible… Mostly on defense…
It’s easier done whenever the players are of the same level…
McCarthy has been sent off to play, while the adults do meetings…So he can look at players he can’t pick…and you bring a guy in that hasn’t had a good offensive output since very young Russ…

Kevin Porter

For everyone screaming about the number similarities between RG and DA- the sacks DA got were a result of someone else’s pressures…not his beating the man in front of him consistently…IMO

Teddy T

this o line has been a roller coaster circus ever since bill callahan was run outta town by the 2 🤡’s upstairs.

Bryce Purser

Where can you get that box of cards

Bruce Hammonds

Thanks for pointing out the flaws in the Cowboys relying on position flex

Adrian Moore

Tell us what was in the other box, and next time, YES, UNBOX THEM ON THE SHOW!

thatguy

The reason you want position flex is because even though you might have a guy come for an intended full time position at G… if someone gets hurt you can move the guy to the outside, etc. That’s the whole point of position flex. If Tyron Smith (when) misses games, you have a viable alternative. There are guys that can do it: Kenyon Green, Zion Johnson, Bernhard Raimann, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Tyler Smith, Darian Kinnard and Max Mitchell.

Time stamp to 9:20 -10:00 I totally agree with Nate Newton!!

Dallas Schwartz

Nate hit it spot on, O-line is a Must! Jerry cast his lot with Dak, now build a Wall around him. If Linderbaum is available in the 1st then you get him an plug him in for the next decade. If he’s not there (I don’t see him going past 17th spot) then as Nate said 2-4 those picks better be O-line and guys who were multiple year starters! No one year wonders!!

Buud

“That’s why you gotta go out and draft some offensive linemen”. Nate Newton is the only reason I watch these.

Jerome Golden

Nate if it was that simple this team would have beat the 49er’s n it would have been 26 years since the last super bowl

Jerome Golden

Jess is spot on about the open hand slapping on a man

Wild JJ

Nate is spot on! Jerrah/Stevie aren’t looking at upgrading this O-line each season with a piece here/there. They spend some monies for a draft or two then, it’s back to drafting their “play toys”. W/o a solid concrete foundation under the establishment, it will crumble. We, as fans, have witnessed this too many times since the last SB run.
Frankly, I thought a few seasons back that, Stephen would evaluate/draft differently than, Big Poppa…but naw, I’m starting to see the same trends. If it weren’t for William McClay, Lord only knows how old/sad our talent might be?
We’d better draft well, and make solid trades when we can…or it’s going to be another “Ho Hum” season, Silver/Blue Fans.

BlazedLangermann

Lets goooo open that box!!
