I think it’s both. The draft is vital, but the Cowboys are too tepid when it comes to free agency. I’m not for spending stupid in free agency, but I’d like them to be more aggressive on that front.

There was a time when Jerry would spend like crazy in Free Agency and it only worked early on. Now, it’s been ALL draft and STILL it hasn’t worked. You need both in order to advance past Wildcard weekend.

But when you draft good also and you don’t when championships you can’t resign everyone and have to trade or let people go or walk like right now we trade Cooper for peanuts after giving up a first round pick just a few years ago and then signed him to a big contract and also Schultz & Gregory & LVE & Michael G are a few big names that are up for contracts that we drafted.. basically what we are going through is what most teams go through after drafting good an building a winning team then win a SB they can’t afford everyone and lose players but sadly we can’t even get to a NFC Championship game let alone the Super Bowl uggg Jerry look at what Cincinnati did with no Oline and a second year QB an a Coach that was in his what second or thrid year ugggg…. Jerry it’s obvious what the problem is, it’s you man so hire a real coach that’s vocal and demanding and puts fear into the players so they behave off and on the field and afraid to lose and clearly give him room and power to do what he needs to do and we can win.. so get Sean P. In a few years and get out of his way and I bet he would win us a SB within 3 to 5 years and if he was our coach last season, we probably would of been in the SB with all that talent bc he almost had the saints in the playoffs with no QB lol
