#GoCowboys Tell Will/Stephen/Jerruh to draft some #SEC players, please.

    Philip Bolin

They have been, UK is sec and damn underrated. Go big blue

WSGJbone

This isn’t even a question. Cut Tank, keep Coop. Tank has never produced for his money.

    sfua

He’s also been the only star linemen we’ve had. He got double teamed and couldn’t do anything about it. We’ve also had terrible schemes that never helped. He should produce yes, but look at what he did with a good DC and a good surrounding team.

    WSGJbone

@sfua at the end of the day, through his entire career, he has been hurt wayyyy more than available. And when available has had 0 consistency in play. Going all the way back to when he was drafted. He produced one year and people fell in love. Not to mention, just about every other lineman has out produced him for the most part. He may receive double teams but other players were still producing when he wasn’t there to eat doubles. Cooper means more to the team in its current state than tank.

    ClutchPedro

@WSGJbone our defense turned around this season when he came back from injury. Now that are d line is good Lawrence has been a beast.

moscato1ca

Defense played immediately better with DLAW’s return!

Roberto Ramirez

I’m with Nick, Go Hogs.. I still remember 94′. I was like 7.

kes 929

Are we forgetting that Amari Cooper is 27 years old???? That’s it!! He is still young. Find Ways to get Amari Cooper the football and he will produce. Same goes with Cee Dee. Get them both involved. See if you can get Michael Gallup back on a cheaper deal and go draft a speedy wide receiver in the draft.

    kyle watson

The problem is the qb, but since they just overpaid him they aren’t gone say that…..So let’s blame one of the best route runners in the league and say he can’t run routes and get open anymore….

    Antbeast23

I think Dallas could add more speed demons on this team

    RCA DnB

LMAO @ Gallup accepting “a cheaper deal”. Also, you have all this money draining your cap space at WR and then go and use your 1st for a WR in the draft? Good luck

Talentless-Medic

Totally agree with what Nick said about Coop, you’re better with him and questionable without him. Tank has regressed since the contract..

    Frankie Chapman

The Cowboys have been able to find Tank’s replacement with Dorance Armstrong. Amari Cooper, not so much.

    Talentless-Medic

@Frankie Chapman agree, defense was balling without Tank, was expecting him to come on strong with all that rest due to injury and wasn’t impressed.

    Frankie Chapman

@Talentless-Medic, it will be hard without Coop, but Will McClay is very good at building a talented roster like the Cowboys already have.

Mike Love

Amari Cooper is not the problem I feel like if you are going to really use him I mean dial up place for him like devonte Adams and Mike Evans then yeah keep him but if you’re going to do this improvise or try to get too tricky I don’t know

Kent Lane

I would get rid of the the offense coordinator before I get rid of Amari. So much potential just waiting for a breakthrough season.

    Marilyn Bolton

I total agree because he didn’t use the #1 wide receiver

    Jeff Breckner

Many of us were hoping he was gonna get a head coaching gig. 🙁

Janet Sullivan

Keep Amari Cooper

ghanjahman

Respect @Nick✊🏽

God N Cowboys

Thank you Nick, someone finally sees the DLaw contract as I see it. We are really about to pay him 27million on the cap for single digits sacks. The Cowboys have paid him 87 million in his time with team an has 48.5 sacks in his career and a whopping 14.5 in 3 years. TJ Watt had 22.5 in this season alone.

    Alexander Israel

And I really really really really hope the Dallas Cowboys don’t see it the way you do.
Over the years I’ve seen, implicitly mostly conservative fanboys who never played refused
to even try to grasp the salary cap and what that money actually means vs player personnel.

    Jeff Breckner

It isn’t about what you pay him, but what the cap hit, and savings are. I mean if we had a cap hit of $100 million on Tank this year, and dead cap = $99 mil, and we’d only save $1 mil in cap space, would you cut him? No. What we are paying him is only relevant to Jerry Jones, and even then it doesn’t matter because Jerry knows he’s paying $220mil or whatever the cap is anyway.

Jacen1347

Why would you EVER cut La’el? Tyron Smith will NEVER play healthy again. You NEED Collins to stay, period. It’s stupid that you guys are even talking about it.

Justin Clifton

They have already freed Dak deal up there good

Ra

You guy’s get it. They definitely would be foolish to cut the best reciever Amari Cooper.

Jerad O

Coop and Zack Martin are the best players on offense. This offense is terrible without Coop.

James Ruff

The OC and the QB did not target Cooper enough. The OC is average at best. We will be worse without Cooper

Monarchski

Love Nick keeping it real.

Michael Leal

Dave and Nick are my boys. Derek my dawg!!! Ambar….anyways.. love the show!

Lay Lowe

If you cut Amari, you MUST draft a WR in the first 2 rounds!!

JAHII

We were using Amari plenty in the 1st 6 games of the season. Dak’s injury, lousy OL play and the lack of Coop’s integration in our Offense led to the team not playing as well. STUPID to release Amari ( and I don’t think we will).
