There is another round of voting for “modern Era candidates” that is voted on by a different group so they will have a chance to get in but still difficult. Completely agree that it’s very hypocritical for them to not even ban many peds for many of these carriers and reep the benefits of interest in, at the time, a struggling sport after the strike. Redsox fan also, so love seeing Papi get in, but your not telling the story of baseball without many of the people baseball refuses to let in.

This team was good enough to beat San Fran, but the offensive ineptness is inescapable. We should’ve taken every 4 yard pass they gave us, then strike with Cooper or Tony when they took that away. We kept going for 10+ yard chunk plays, didn’t convert, and our defense was toast by the time we came to life.

    Deezboyz Justwin

That’s every playoff game they lost since 2016 they all are the same but defense use to get the blame

    kenney0313

The play calling made no sense. Williams was NOT going to be able to deal with Armstead unless he’s directional blocking. Face to Face trying to hold his ground is asking him to turn into something he’s not. He is an undersized & underpowered LG playing between a HOFer and a barely solid 2nd year Center, and Connor’s the weakest link. Not his fault, but Jerry never replaced Leary & La’el at LG after 2016, and Zeke’s numbers have declined yearly as the O-line injuries and illness have hit. He battles, but he ain’t built like that. He’s not heavy-framed enough to add more than he’s added over 4 years of NFL weights & diet. Call a spade a spade. He’s a good football player, but he’s not genetically constructed to consistently win against modern D-lines. It is what it is. We can’t win with him and Kellen calling plays that expose his weaknesses. We’ve got mobile linemen who love power football, but we spend 42+ of 60+ snaps passing because Kellen tries to run behind Tyron & Connor instead of Zack & La’el. That’s idiotic! Who runs behind a all-pro pro bowl HOF LT + a LIABILITY LG, when you’ve got all-pro pro bowl HOF RG + pro bowl RT on the other side? Kellen Moore.🕵

@kenney0313 that’s the truth and Connor Williams was a tackle that they switched to guard McGoverner should have been at left guard

I’m with Amber I knew we were screwed as soon as they had their little Boombox they were all dancing around we were sitting there looking like we’re about to go to the dentist

James Pitts

Shouldn’t be pressure if you just do your job.

Darren Treco

Really now, WHY IS AMBER THERE??

Mike Jones

Nick? Was it Donovan Wilson?

Philip Jones

“Any team can beat any other team at any given time.” This season is proof of that old mantra. It’s a head game and unless any team is mentally and emotionally prepared their knees will buckle and they will beat themselves. Talk is cheap…. DC and others need to keep the trap shut and show it…

Did MM really figure it out with Nolan? I think that had the Jones’ allowed it, MM would have kept Nolan. As a long-time Cowboys fan (the mid-60s) and someone who wanted MM even before his name was mentioned in connection with the Cowboys, I have seen enough and would prefer that Jerry move on from MM. Same with KM. The Cowboys had MM, KM, and McAdoo as offense-oriented coaches and they could NOT figure it out?? So, what makes Jerry and FO think that MM and KM would be able to figure it out? Penalties, MM must be totally oblivious on how they could have been corrected and instead was the main contributor to NOT stopping them as well as this whiny team putting the blame on the officials. MM lied to Jerry during the initial hiring interview, he wanted Nolan, brought in McAdoo to do what??, his team has the most penalties in a given season, they go into a funk towards the latter half of the season and they are “nervous” for the playoff game…Sorry, in my opinion, MM should be shown the door. KM – as a player he put up a lot of numbers, but the Cowboys lost and now, his offense, for the most part, put up big numbers against bad to good teams, but against really good teams, they struggled and yet boy genius was unable to correct it. If I was Jerry, I would have KM in my office and ask him directly what happened and what EXACTLY are you going to do differently in 2022. I would listen with a huge GRAIN of salt and would most likely get rid of him as well. It won’t happen, but bringing in Sean Payton, getting rid of KM keeping DQ, and or bringing in Fangio would definitely give this long-time Cowboys fan a small ray of hope.

E M

Dave, if the goal is to win, then the HC has to step in or do something if he notices that there are problems, in this case, with the offense. If he does not, then it is okay to ask, how much “influence” of the Jones’ “wanting” KM impacts how or what MM says to KM. In my opinion, MM should have stepped it up a lot more in regards to the offensive and penalty problems. He failed in that regard, therefore whether he should remain the HC is a valid question to ask. And if they do make a change, one can also ask themselves, is it the coaching or something else? What is the common denominator over the last 25 years?

Jerome Golden

The one thing these guys didn’t mention was this pass weekend games showed how every team use their numbers one receiver’s and had ways to get their best players the ball coaching and play calling was at the highest level don’t forget Jerry Jones wanted Moore there so u can’t expect Mike to over step Moore weak play calling

    randyl

Kellen Moore is horrible. Why are we always hiring failed nfl qbs as offensive.coordinators/qb coaches???? College success isnt the NFL. You have to run the ball. 10 rushing attempts the entire game? Wtf.

Monarchski

Kellen Moore doesn’t seem to have the personality to bring out enthusiasm and passion in the players. He also doesn’t have the moxy to demand better from players and I think that’s part of the problem. Dak needs a mentor, not a brother.

JAHII

Wow….8 or 9 bad games and the Lil Hobbit is off the Dak bandwagon. Get him an OL & he’s looking good again, just like most QBs.

    Mark Chavarria

He’s the Garden Gnome, get it right 😉

thadude 1

When I was watching the game, I did not think the team was not ready. I remember a 3rd and 3 where Zeke had nothing and he fought for the forst down. They had fight. The penalties was the problem in that game. Not being nervous.

Norm Lee

Is peyton does become the HC in 2023, is there really a need for moore, since peyton has his own scheme and does the playcalling? Carmichael played more of a supporting role. And if the team REALLY wants peyton, get him now while the roster is relatively intact. By 2023, the OL is older, there is no guarantee elliott, cooper, gregory, or lawrence will be there–and peyton may not fully believe prescott can fully run his scheme well. It may not be a roster peyton believes can win now, and may end up going elsewhere. Jones should get him now and stop procrastinating, if he is the coach he really wants.

Jessie Johnson

That was a great point. They are not GODS!!!

Jason DOE

Points were empty calories we played 6 games against the NFC east
