Dave hit the nail right on the head. And obviously no coach jumped into their sh*t about it all year. And if we had played the way we know they could play, we would have dominated them in the 2nd Half.

    David Cisneros

Why not just say the obvious cowboys were out coached always are when facing 500 + teams KMoore is not boy wonder n there’s tons of blame to spread around but Moore shrouds been axed with Garrett!

    Malachi300

I’m pretty sure the coaches got on them about penalties. Every coach does.

Freddy McTickles

Dave Helman nails it on the head. It’s the hubris of the team that killed it. Dak got so offended when he played like garbage and media questioned it. The head coach refused to fix the discipline issues, he just wanted to blame the refs, which was never the bigger issue.

    Stevie Mac23

Basically acting like a bunch of wimpy brats, no accountability on this team. It starts from higher up and then trickles down

    iJosh

Duck and McCarthy are the issue.

    Reggie Hart

You all hit it squarely! We as a fanbase deserve better and its my fault for drinking the kool-aid unfortunately 😕

PhilC

The final drive of the game appears to have masked the prior offensive series that could best be described as horrific. Down by only 6 points, the favored Cowboys had the ball with 3 minutes to go in the game, 3 timeouts, AND the 2 minute warning. Dak proceeded to play like a rookie QB and after ANOTHER clunky offensive possession, the 49ers almost put the game away. Compare that to Tony Romo’s game winning drive against the Lions in the 2014 Wildcard Playoffs and you’ll quickly understand the differences between a real NFL QB and a mediocre QB. It’s important to note that Romo played an almost perfect game (e.g., 15 of 19, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions) the following week against the Packers, but pathological narcissist Dan Blandino screwed the Cowboys out of playing the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. The loss to the 49ers had nothing to do with the officials or the ghosts of playoffs past. The Cowboys were simply awful on offense and mediocre on defense. They were outplayed by the 49ers and the loss begins and ends with Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott.

    robert logan

@Joe “LEETHAL” Taylor Blah, blah, blah… Dak is trash. Why block for a guy that throws behind or over or short of his receivers on the regular? A guy that comes up small in big games and we still have the apologists running cover for the most supported qb in the league? You guys better start figuring out who to blame next year… For as long as Dak is the qb of the Cowboys… They won’t be winning anything of note.

    Joe "LEETHAL" Taylor

@robert logan and how many QB in he league has done better?. please show me .

    J ham

@Joe “LEETHAL” Taylor rodgers, Brady, burrow, stafford, Murray, I’m sure there are more.Dak did not deserve his pay at all. He should’ve gotten like 20 mil not 85

    J ham

@west_ texas Tony also didn’t have the defense or the offensive line that Dak has now…..Tony also never had a 1000 yard rusher until Demarco Murray. So overall if Romo had what Dak has now…..Dalllas would be in a Super Bowl run

Someone should start a Social Media Campaign to get Jerry Jones to let Will McClay hire or decide the Head Coach. Jones and his kids have proven they can’t judge coaching talent.

    King Marquiz317

    Amen

    iJosh

Nick C … because Jerry chose really poorly when he hired Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells? And if you believe in “Duck’ so much to where you will blame the coach then you have to give Jerry the credit for drafting and keeping Duck, paying him a truly outlandish contract… all that money! The problem is quarterback and coach. That’s it!

    I Rankin

Who the hell is Will McClay and why would you put trust in him ( peculiar accent )
26 years no NFC championship appearance / dig in / they ain’t drafting their way out of this

    Dontae Coleman

@Teddy T You trippin. Jerry does his job.

    Justin Quarles

    @I Rankin 🤦‍♂️

DreVal79

The first quarter of the game told the story. The way they looked in the first quarter, is the way they looked in the first quarter of all the games they lost this year.

    illyal55

Spot on so sad to watch

    Rick Miller

    true

    Justin Quarles

Kellen Moore offensive scheme got figured out

    Dawn Patrick

It was a very Jason Garrett start to a game.

    DreVal79

    @Dawn Patrick Yes Indeed!!!

DreVal79

Greenbay not only has that dude…they have a good oline, the best wr in the game and a running game.

    iJosh

DreVal79 … so, if we can get “that dude”, we will be fine right? I agree, if we had Rogers this team would be in the Super Bowl, no questions asked. But you’ve paid “Duck” for the next couple of years so we’re STUCK!

    tite50

    They have better coaching to

    DreVal79

@iJosh I think u can win with Dak, but u have to have a good oline, good rb and a good D. U have to limit Dak to 25 throws a game. Anything more than that????

Julien Wood

We need to be honest about dak. This should be his last contract with this team. Move off from him as soon as it’s possible

    el gum

@Training 2Faces Of Evil yes look at Kurt warner breakdown all those sacks was on him

    Training 2Faces Of Evil

@el gum But look at Tannehill? Look how far he got, Dak better then him

    el gum

@Training 2Faces Of Evil no man we can’t compare apples to apples here

    el gum

@Training 2Faces Of Evil I’m not saying I’m not going to support dak just saying he needs to improve that

    Training 2Faces Of Evil

@el gum I think that’s all on coaching and play calling , look how good Dak played his rookie year with romo on the side lines, romo Basically was offensive coordinator

Andy McDonnell

From the moment the Cowboys deferred the coin toss followed by the Niners rolling down the field uncontested without a 3rd down conversion resulting in a score, I detected a negative vibe for the game and I was right. Out coached, out muscled, an indecisive QB, an inefficient OL and probably most of all, 14 freaking penalties. Starts at the top with coaching and this is not a disciplined team. More questions than answers in yet another long off-season is upon us. Welcome to Cowboys nation where the “status quo” is our mission statement.

    H W

Time to impose punitive fines on individual players for every unnecessary penalties. Or bench or fire repeat offenders.

    west_ texas

@Bola 1013 everyone has a plan till you get punched on the mouth, Tyson said that. But my thing is Kellen Moore and these coach’s plan is garbage to begin with. Their plan is to come out with high school level innovation. Their inability to call a good game is baffling, get Amari the ball 10+ targets, start Pollard over Zeke, run to the edges, stop throwing long developing pass plays into cover 3 or cover 4 when your offensive line sucks
I pray for cowboys to get rid of the head coach and offensive coordinator and hire Dan Quinn as head coach

    FRODILES

@west_ texas I agree with everything you said and people seem to forget about the play calling. But sometimes I wonder how much McCarthy can do about the play calling it seems like they let Moore do wtf he wants to do even if it’s trash. Quinn and McCarthy are smart enough to let Moore know how not to call a game. You would think. Maybe the Jones control the operation way too damn much and they’re getting their money’s worth watching Dak drop back time and time and time and time again.

    west_ texas

@FRODILES it definitely is something with who has final say so. You would think that with McCarthy having all this experience calling plays that he would step in and say something, change something, just something please. Too many experienced coaches on this team to let some snot nose little punk throw your season away and possibly get many of them coaches fired. I can’t let another man determine my fate, no sir not me

TacoABeast 83

Dak will be fine…Good teams have good DLines…We are weak in the middle of OLine…Dak was beating good defenses when he had Frederick, Leary, and Martin to keep middle of pocket clean

    KyleKatarn59

I miss Travis Frederick more than any player. Smart player, super strong and he was able to cut defenses in half in the running game. Damned Guillan-Barre Syndrome ruined his career.

Rickie Cross

Other Dallas fans thought I was crazy saying that there is a reason Dak was picked in the fourth round .

    George Hunt

i agree 100 per cent i have been telling my friends the same thing he is one hell of a leader but not a consistent qb

Dan Lazaro

DAK is a 6th round pick, and he’s living up to that pick. I was a defender of his for the longest, but his lack of accountability is a loser mentality. He’s just a 6th round pick at the end of the day.

    lenny storm

I love the Cowboys bleed blue and silver but Jerry Jones is the problem, not Dak ,but management, why can’t they just promote Dan Quinn as head coach before we lose him

    lenny storm

@west_ texas s o you want Cooper Rush or something worst, Dak can be fixed but that offense line is past it prime except the Right Guard Zack Martin, Tony Pollard is the back they need to work, Ezekiel Elliot just does not have it anymore, Dalton Shultz is not the answer at Te, Leighton and Anthony Brown ,Lael Collins need to go and Mike McCarthy is not the right coach. Amari C ooper we not convinced is our best receiver but Ceedee Lamb disappears

    west_ texas

@lenny storm everything you just said is ALL COACHING. Pollard over Zeke is coaching, Amari getting 90+ reception is ALL COACHING, CD Lamb being a fraudulent #88 is coaches drafting him, Schultz is garbage as a blocker, and I’m sorry but listen to what you are saying about Dak. He can be fixed? How? When you are inaccurate you are inaccurate. His best attribute coming out of college was he was s running QB, but now with a broke ankle he doesn’t run

    Antbeast23

Than don’t expect much from him but draft status doesn’t matter. Since he has grown he isn’t the most talented qb

sunnydaze11

Ambar is right!!! I knew exactly what she was talking about because I had the same observation. Before the game even started,49’ers come walking out with their huge boom box, with an air of attitude, confidence , and ENERGY, and Dallas team looked half asleep.!! I had a thought that , uh oh, this isn’t going to end well….before it even began. Have seen this in some of their other games, but before a PLAYOFF game??!!

    Khadijah Morning

I noticed the same thing too. I took my jersey off because of how somber they looked before they walked out.

    C DIDDY

I felt the same way, we in our home field and we came out looking like we were going to lose. Who gave them the pep talk b4 coming out today? I also can’t stand that McCarthy never gets jn Dak’s face and pull him by his helmet to get his head back in the game and get us a win, Kellan can’t do all the work. The team weren’t even pumping each other up or holding each other accountable for their mistakes.

    SkYHigH22

@C DIDDY When has any head coach get in the face of any quarterback of this organization since Parcells? That’s a big part of the problem, discipline and accountability

    Will Smith

Yeah I noticed that too look like they was going to a funeral

    napoleon lee

The only game we played and had the energy on the side line was when…..Dan Quinn on the side line. He should always be down there.

Monarchski

Losing a football game? It happens. Losing a game where there’s little effort from most of the team and coaches and players both seem unprepared (especially Kellen Moore)? It pisses people off. We may never see another collection of talent on this roster like we had, and it was squandered away. Been a fan for over 40 years but not sure I can watch them next season.

Issues

I’m glad after being dogged all year – LVE stepped up- if it’s his last game as a cowboy – that tackle on deebo was a huge play and likely his best of the season

    Bryan Luna

He def played up to those levels this game,

    Emiliano Andujar

    One game doesn’t cut it

    Wetcamerainc

Hes a run defender. Hes definitely a high depth player

    Emiliano Andujar

@Wetcamerainc high depth? What are y’all smoking he’s gonna want a decent amount of money. I’m not paying him to be a depth guy he’s supposed to be starter worthy

HK 808

Micah was held on nearly every play for the past 3 weeks minus philly he didn’t play. At least twice I watched the play clock go to 0 when the 9ers had the ball. It’s not so much what they called against one team, it’s what they didn’t call against the other team. You can throw a flag on nearly every play and if your gonna do it for one team officiating should be standard across the board.

    sunnydaze11

Yeah, it’s the no calls…not the reason they lost (maybe), but certainly don’t help. An example is the 49ers first drive , on their TD, Micah Parsons was being blatantly held when he looked like he would have made the stop otherwise. And it continued all game. He, Randy and Tank getting held….and people are mad that our guys didn’t get sacks! Not the whole reason, but certainly affected the probability.

    Mohammed Usama

49ers d line was in neutral zone all game long . It’s funny they called us for the same thing and not them .

    trounbyfire

Pushed in the back into a guy and almost taken out the game first drive…. Hands to the face not called on 9ers… So many holding not called.

BigDaddyErn66

Dak cannot carry a team to a SB, even with all the talent around him, he cannot step up. Now we’re stuck with his high priced contract and cannot sign more players.

    iJosh

BigDaddyErn66… If the Cowboys fire McCarthy and trade Duck to the Packers, maybe we can get Rodgers and go on a SB Run? I hear Sean Payton maybe available?

Donna Deal

This team played like their coach looks: sluggish and uninspired. I don’t think Mike had the wind to take somethings seriously enough to change them.

Joe Toothman

I have been a Cowboys fan since they were an expansion team in 1960. I liked their work ethic, integrity, and dedication. It took several years to build a good team but they did it with hard work. For the last 27 years plus this team has been built on ego, arrogance, lack of discipline, and showmanship. Just look at the palace with the go-go dancers. Really? I think we should rename the Cowboys to the three ring circus by Jerry Jones. We could call them the circus clown cowboys. We have all the money, talent, and facilities but we have zero discipline! What a waste of talent and resources year after year. I continue to hope they fix these issues but history does not give me much confidence that they ever will. I hope they take this for motivation. You need discipline….discipline….discipline. I will always be a fan but the light is not as bright.

Dustin Schiller

Thanks y’all for not crapping on the fans here. I appreciate the level headedness on this show, unlike the others where the fans are being ridiculed when we have been here before during and will be here after this team is gone and we have new players. Thanks and credit to Ambar, she was on the money all season, she’s become a solid source of sense on the Cowboys.

FRODILES

You guys make me feel better about the L. I wish I had a job like yours! Hopefully we learn from this game and come back stronger next year! Go 2022 Cowboys!
