    Dak specifically has been 8-17 against an opponent when they are above .500 in the last 4 years. That is upon the meeting not at seasons end. His throws are inconsistent and he has to play lights out to give us a chance. if the first series is any indication, the defense is going to have its hands full. We need elite play. As I write this he just got sacked. I told you. It’s not impossible to win but the data supports a loss. Cupcake schedule and struggle against good teams. Today is no different. Period.

Cowboys fans, brothers and sisters, I know the past 25 years have been full of a lot of ups and even more downs. We all know what it’s like to be a Cowboy fan. Especially the years we’ve made good runs just to come up short, due to blind refs, or just bad luck. As fans of football but most of all the Dallas Cowboys we all have that pit in our stomach, that uneasy feeling, that 6th sense of the inevitable. We’ve had our hearts broken over and over and i’m one of those who expects to be let down that way i’m never disappointed but I’m also one of the realest, most sensible, sports fans there is. I know when we’re good and when we’re bad.

This year we’re good. Real good and I still have those feelings, but you know what? No more. No longer will I allow those feelings to block the truth. This team AT IT’S BEST is better than EVERYONE ELSE at their best. That’s a good thing to be able to say, and believe, AND I BELIEVE!

Let down your guard Cowboys fans. Enjoy your Sunday and toss out all the negativity. It’s a new day. The past is the past. Old teams are exactly that. Old teams. This season was a HUGE turn around. This team is the here and now. The future is bright. If we lose. We lose. I’m still amazed how these guys overcame all the adversity they went through this season. This defense went from being one of the worst last year and became one of my favorite defenses i’ve ever watched. The toughness and depth our guys showed by fighting through an immense amount of injuries and covid was supernatural. The mental fortitude to overcome the media’s rollercoaster of love and hate. Coach Mike shrugging off all the armchair Madden coaches who question a Superbowl Champions time management, although they are right lol…the list goes on and on…

We’re better than the 49ers and i’m not afraid to say it. Being better doesn’t always win. Ask Dez. Any given Sunday anyone can lose but i’ll be damned if I i’m going to let the past ruin it for this team. Win, lose, or draw I’m proud of these guys this season and you should be as well. They gave us 12 great wins and a couple hard fought, close losses. If you’re going to the game on Sunday you better leave there voiceless! If you’re watching from home put your colors on and fly your flags outside and at the end of this season be proud to say…HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!

Several things are always holding us back. Greg the Leg, Daks up and down, defense struggles with the run and holding penalties. If we can ever eliminate these we’d be on our way. Let’s hope it all changes Sunday.

I’ve been a Cowboys fan for a long time my grandfather got me into watching the Cowboys and I’ve had some of the best moments watching them with him. And I’m so excited to watch them play against the 49rs, with my grandfather. I hope they play there hearts out and show everyone why they are a the best team in the team in the NFL.
