As for the full pads practice, all you had to do was listen to McCarthy the last 2 months. He said he was pulling back during the winter months to rest th eplayers legs for the playoffs and then would add more padded practices back into it as th eplayoffs start to work on fundamentals. Its not that hard to see what he did. He knew they were in the playoffs so he pulled back slightly to still win but be rested, and now he is building back up for the final push. Pretty dang smart if you ask me. My guess is this is from his year off studying his past experiences. This has nothing to do with the 49ers, nobody truly believes McCarthy suddenly thinks he’s gonna teach his team to be more physical in one padded practice 3 days before the game. Pretty stupid comment actually.
Nate has so much knowledge the young boy with barely experience needs to stop trying to hype things up and just listen to the experience
