@M D Basically, JJ is great at negotiation… AROD has stated he wants to leave and fought to redo his contract in the offseason so that he could leave after this yr if he wants to…. Dallas has a lot to offer to athletes from talent to fame to lifelong financial security so im not too worried about AROD saying no…. but im just not sure that JJ needs to make the move. our team hasn’t had a significant win for 25 yrs and we have still become the most profitable franchise in the world of athletics… … JJ cares about money > winning games (as does every American businessman), so why do anything different? why go the extra mile to win, when going the extra mile for flashy whatevers is best for business….

I think he is gna do what he is doing unless we fans as a considerable collective say otherwise…. JJ will continue to bring in cash cow entertainers for the viewers to enjoy… Deion, Romo, T.O., Dez, Dak, Zeke… And absolutely AROD would be a media lightening rod and would bring in so much revenue… BUT, fans are so entrenched in their decision to retain dak, that JJ might feel he cant afford to move on yet (bad business move)…

Nothing wrong with cheering for your guy but i want my team, The Dallas Cowboys to win.

@M D SO, if and when dak goes 1 n done… the fanbase (which is already turning) might get more aggressive… like when they booed AIkman off the field. that was just wrong…… But i remember, and i wana use that behavior to shape our chances to win the SB. There is a way, and that starts with us demanding a SB.

@Lil Dallas Cowboy I appreciate what you’re saying oddly enough I’ve felt some of what you’re basically saying insofar as why would JJ do anything to change? Our fanbase is TOO loyal, ticket sales, concessions, merch sales and t.v ratings don’t seem to suffer enough despite the 25 year drought. I’ve been supportive of Dak up until
mid season this year. I don’t believe he’s the guy to get it done anymore unless everything is almost perfect around him. As far as Arod coming here I’ll believe when I see it.
