I remember watching that game as a 14 year old boy, I remember tuning up and down inside and out side yelling after that play against the purple people eaters. Also, I don’t know if it is true or not but latter on that week I heard that Fran Tarkenton father had a heart attack, that day. Not sure if this is accurate or not. If so I hope his father survived. But one thing is for sure, back in those days the rivalry between the Cowboys and the Vikings were on the same level as the Cowboys and the Redskins. They were intense games when ever we played them.
