Cowboys struggling because of this O-line

Jerome Golden

Amber’s right it’s called pressure time play calling and coaching it’s not the same this is what they need to overcome to get to the next level as a team it’s not going to get easier from here on out

Sleezhy

Can you imagine once jarbril Cox comes back how good him and Michah will be together.

    Rgt underworld Rgt777

No. Nobody knows if the guy can play at this level or not. No guarantee he can.
Just worry about the guts we DO have playing Now. Root them on.
Why do y’all fall in love t certain players?
Who cares, as long as a gut plays for the Cowboys. We root for them

1 DragonX

Micah is closer to LT than Diggs is to Prime Time. By the end of the season Micah will only be compared to himself.

Sir King Bishop

The head coach was out. The o-line coach was out. Do I have to repeat that? If you didn’t need a head coach. Why hire one? Your star back is injured. Your star receiver is suffering covid side effects. Your second receiver is one week removed from concussion protocol. And the consistent part of your team stepped up to win you the game. GTGOH! We are who we have always been. A solid playoff team. Let’s go cowboys..DC☆4L

AlThor

The speed of #11 is super impressive, but I may be just as impressed with his strength. When he tackles guys, they go down, period. I’ve seen him tackle guys with one arm a couple of times, and was shocked. He just doesn’t look big enough to finish these tackles the way he does. He’s already a star… can’t wait to see where he ends up. Go Cowboys!!

    Cactus G

    He’s solid as a rock

    Kevin Charles

I was telling my friend the same thing a couple weeks ago. Once he gets his hands on people, or hand, that’s it. End of play

    Jay Cee

He goes for the ball every tackle too. He clubs at the ball with his right arm as he’s wrapping up every time he tackles someone. That’s how he got the Mahomes strip sack. He’s so strong and the right arm just muscle memory clubs at the ball everytime.

    J P

@Jay Cee agree kid is able to think in the moment and make smart decisions. Even when tackling QB’s he’s aware of when to hit and when to avoid a penalty. That is amazing awareness 10 yr vets don’t have that kind of mental presence

JJ

Teams have figured out how to slow the offense. It’s part of the season, teams catch up to what you’re doing and scheme up for it. Now it’s up to the offense to adjust and counter those schemes. They have 5 games to get it right before the real season starts.

    Football Philosopher

Teams catch up to you when your scheme is obvious or you don’t have much talent… if the scheme is good or great, and the players are great… it doesn’t matter. Scheme is obvious and overwhelmingly boring. That’s why mediocre teams and defenses can stop you. (Raiders, Broncos, chiefs) are mediocre or bad defenses.

    JJ

@Football Philosopher LOL the scheme as a whole is fine, they just need to adjust to the adjustments defense have made. It’s not extreme one way or the other, slappy. Things like running outside, Dak using his legs more, and using Pollard more than Zeke until 21’s knee gets better are a few things they can do to get the offense rolling again. You get too emotional when you try to talk football, hence why your opinions are bad.

    Football Philosopher

@JJ Are you aware that you just said the “scheme as a whole” and then you went about explaining that they need to scheme different🤣🤣🤣. It is extreme. When was Daks last designed run? How about read option, or RPO??? 🤣🤣🤣. Have we seen the pick routes other teams use on us? Why don’t we do it? We were 2-13 on their down… and people like you say it’s not extreme one way or the other and then explain extremes. We need to sit Zeke for some time so he gets healthy. That’s major. I’m also a Ohio state fan, so I’ve watched Zeke for almost the last decade… he never runs out of bounds when he can clearly get five more yards through contact. Needs to sit. Dak needs to have more designed runs, we also need to stop Running up the middle out of those same two formations.

    Football Philosopher

@JJ Clearly you don’t seem to understand the mindset of Kellen Moore… at least in the run game. He thinks more about execution and overpowering people. That’s why we also haven’t run much fo the jet sweep action, that helps the outside run game, and also the inside because it holds the end and LB. Even with Zeke hurt we can use pollard, brown, lamb, Clemons on those plays at least 5-10 times a game, and fact it the other times and get easy double team down blocks. HIS PHILOSOPHY IS OUT TALENT, NOT OUT SCHEME. We don’t have the LG,C talent to do that!! So yes, significant scheme change is 100% required because teams know what we’re doing. We have the ball poorly in the last 7 games, and 4 of the 7 teams had poor run defenses!!! No emotion involved, I knew our problem before the year would be an obvious and boring offense, that overwhelmingly depends on talent. That’s why you can’t counter opponents even when you’re get more talented

conwkr1

55 didn’t have a good game at all. He is refusing to hit. Making business decisions as a line backer is pretty shitty. And I love leighton.

    Don Hummel

I to am a fan of LVE but hes not the same guy he was. Dont think he will be here next season unless its on the cheap cheap

    D Villanueva

It’s like lve misses smith or is mad they didn’t pick up his 5th year

Invader J

Would you rather have
A , 1- 60 yrd run
B, 4- 15 yrd runs
C 6- 10 yrd runs

    Humberto Jacquez

    touchdowns

    Invader J

@Humberto Jacquez I’m goin on running game production and effect 6- 10 yrd run and a TD I think would be better then a 1- 60 yrd TD you don’t use any time no ware on the defense and you don’t open the big passing plays like you would with C

Talentless-Medic

Dallas needs to pick one, either run the ball to set up the pass or pass to set up the run.. Dallas has the WR’s to run the west coast offense and Pollard has the speed to take advantage of it.

Issues

Hats off to Ambar for asking the guys challenging questions and calling out the hypocrisy of those complaining about the cowboys running too much versus previous weeks where they abandoned too early

Adappa Jah Anu

…PS..Nick, notice running game and the passing game has suffered since connor Williams has been sent to the bench for McGovern..I’m looking at that being the main issue right now

Amando Alvarez 3

I think its fair to say the big run plays have all been east to west runs and not in-between the tackles especially this saints game 🤔. And I dare ask is it time for a philosophical run game change from in-between the tackle runs to a east to west and rb screen plays to help the run game get up and going? What say you…

John Davis

Nick E is right when he says the chiefs could and would have scored more than 19 if they needed to. People need to realize and understand how true this is. Once up by 10 in 2h going later into 4th qtr most teams will become more conservative especially if it was like the way the game was playing out with Dallas clearly not going to be able to turn it up and score multiple TD

Gabriel Carrasco

Something to ponder. Micah has 23 pressures in the last 3 games. Only player to do that was Watt in 2019 with 25. Watt was a full time rusher. Micah switches.

Jammal Williams

Cowboys are Straight,You Can’t play a Perfect Game ” all” the time.. as Long you get the Victory… The Saints are a NFL Team also..

Finstor

Injuries, covid, 3 games in 12 days, the team has faced a ton in a short period of time. As always in the NFL its how healthy you are at the end of the season. The Cowboys are about to be fully healthy. When they were fully healthy earlier, they looked like one of the best teams in the league. I expect that to be the case going forward. The biggest mistake they have made was not sitting Zeke last week, and giving him almost 3 wks off. If everyone is healthy the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the league, that goes for all the best teams in the league…if they are healthy. Micah Parsons is one of the best defensive players I’ve ever seen enter the league. I’m 52 so I’ve seen alot of them. As football goes, Micah is a HOF talent and his future will be dictated by his health.

J P

This is why Zeke is so important because he usually gets you 4-5 yards which helps keep chains moving. I prefer that over home run plays. When you own the clock and can run out these games it matters. We are doing too many 3rd and 8’s which is much harder to convert than 3rd and 2 when you are running great at short yardage.

A L I

Agree with Nick on the KC point. To say if this happened and that happened and we would have won, well there a counter reaction by the opponent when that happens, the game plays out differently.

William Vandyke

When u look at these games that Dak has struggled I believe it’s not coincidence that receivers were missing and Zeke has been banged up. When you start subbing receivers for ones that he has had great success with one has to believe the chemistry isn’t the same. I believe it will help Dak here on out!
