@Matthew Francis we spent the most money ever and lost 1 less game than Cam Newton did last year. Be realistic Mac also had Nelson who was #2 in ypc last year at 18.7 and couldn’t do anything with him. Bourne is a solid WR Hunter is a good TE and Myers is a solid #3-4 option which he is currently.
@jay 1988 I HOPE he finally he does 🤦♂️ It’s like he does not realize Brady is gone ,and we have a rookie QB who came from the best college football team roster. Imo we don’t need another safety as much as we need a CB to help JC Jackson. Dugger was coming off injury and Phillips just isn’t a leader like McCourty (obviously). We have Onwenu at LT he just gets rotated for sum dumb reason.
@jay 1988 We made it to the playoffs with a rookie QB. Nelson drops too many passes to be #1 and cannot get open against #1 CBs. Bourne was really the only consistent play we had. And absolutely no one can get run after the catch yards except our tight ends. I could’ve sworn it was ur as* I was arguing with that Cam would’ve done better this year.
@Matthew Francis McCorty is done he needs to be replaced same with most of the defense and some of the offense a lot to improve with little resources
@jay 1988 What 🤨? Before that playoff game he was the only person on defense getting picks and making big tackles. He’s also like one of the fastest players we have on D so that doesn’t make sense. What the defense needs are fast tacklers mainly in the MLB.
The problem on offense is how conservative it is. We’re a running team but don’t stay true to it, we do nothing but predictable slant/short plays, and when we need a big play and it doesn’t go well, we’re surprised that a rookie QB couldn’t do it. He literally had Waddle, Ruggs, and Smith. He needs a reliable #1 WR. The Eagles are bad but they had Smith to save their passing game till playoffs.

You have to give the Patriots a lot of credit for getting through that entire game without any defensive players.
Slater is a outstanding player and a better leader. He will be an great coach later if he wants to be.
