What I like about the Pats is they always make it interesting even if they are screwing up, and screw up they did. The 4th quarter showed they were peeved and were trying to make a point, even if a win was unlikely. They’ll be fine and will likely end up 12-5.
This is the game Pats needed before the playoffs. They were overdue for a bad game and our rookie QB needed an experience like this. Now we can learn and focus up for the playoff run.

@cmonnflseason VS Ravens, 2011, 12, I’d have to look it up. 4th down Ravens in FG range, BUT your clock said 3rd down. Kicker was busy kicking into a net, while watching the clock, he had to run out with seconds remaining and missed the kick.
Every single football team on the planet has a bad game. Move forward. As a Atlanta supporter… the New England Patriots are fortunate to have Bill Belichick as the head coach… immense respect. Colts fan here, im pumped we finally beat the Patriots and I respect Bellichick for his condolences to Kelly and his family. NE made a lot of mistakes last night with turnovers, bad penalties that killed momentum, we had no pass game and they still got hammered with the run game, and the blocked punt was a killer. The Patriots were uncharacteristically outcoached and made bad mistakes.

A loss is never great, but this one gives a lot of teaching material, a lot. I did enjoy watching the 4th. The lesson is if the Patriots play a clean game they can beat anybody and if them play like that they can’t beat anybody.
