Given that Wills is on a rookie contract for a few more years and Conklin may price himself off the team, would they switch Hudson to the right side and train him up from that side?
He has 32″ arms, so he’s probably going to be playing guard in the NFL. I think he’s probably going to be replacing Wyatt Teller after his rookie contract expires.

@Snap Malloy That’s a good point. No one is talking about Bitonio after this year. But it makes sense to keep Teller and Hudson as guards if the latter turns out good.
James Hudson will be the starter at RT when all Jack Conklin’s guaranteed money has been paid. The key to everything with the Browns and Andrew Berry is to always have starting caliber drafted core talent on the rookie scale. When you draft as well as Andrew, you find starting caliber core talent in any and every round. Last season it was Donovan in the 6th, this year James Hudson falls into that category. Andrew is drafting starting caliber talent in every round. Nobody that is waived by the Browns will have to wait long for somebody in the NFL to claim them. This roster is loaded. The Browns be like Woody Hayes’ Buckeyes back in the day when O State had about 200 guys on scholarship. Browns five deep everywhere. Paul and Andrew are clowning the league all the way to SoFi in Feb 2022. GO BROWNS!
